Job Objective

  • The Shopping Experience Manager helps build top platforms and tools providing the best experience to customers; from signing-in on Jumia to ordering and returning items or reaching out to customer service.
  • She/he translates/adapts the communication with/for the customer to the local language and cultural context; audits/updates the communication through all channels: emails, SMS, PN, Inbox, WhatsApp, ChatBot.

  • Market and operations : develop close monitoring and understanding of customer behavior with marketing, commercial and operations teams and specific tools : surveys, focus groups, etc.

Scottish Documentary Institute Connecting Stories 2022 for documentary filmmakers from developing countries

Aiming to support underrepresented creative voices, Connecting Stories is a year-long programme for documentary filmmakers developing their first or second feature film, from Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

It combines seminars exploring various aspects of the industry, including the development and the production of feature films, individual mentorship sessions, and masterclasses with international key players in the current documentary landscape. It also includes a filmmaker’s grant of £1,000 for each selected participant.

Having delivered our Stories workshops over 10 years, working with over 180 participants, from 10 countries, we have developed Connecting Stories as an opportunity to help Stories alumni and others to take their documentary practice to a new level. In the process we will establish and host a peer-network of participants and our international speakers and mentors, bringing documentary filmmakers from across the world, with diverse experience, to share and learn from each other.

Requirements

  • Up to 12 participants will be selected to take part in various online activities (group seminars, individual mentorship, industry events) designed to help them grow their knowledge of the industry, their confidence to navigate the international scene, to work with co-producers and to put together the right material to pitch their projects and apply for funding.
  • Applicants are expected to be in development, production or early post-production of their first or second feature length documentary, to have already engaged with their characters and to have some early footage showing their access to the story. Connecting Stories aims to support under-represented creative voices.

French Agency for Development (AFD) Digital Challenge 2022 for African Start-ups (€150K prize)

The Digital Energy Challenge for Start-ups rewards every year 5 to 8 start-ups working on innovative digital projects that aim to increase energy access and improve power grid performance in Africa.

Eligibility Requirements

The Call for Projects is open to start-ups and utilities.

The start-up must meet the following criteria:

  • Created less than 10 years ago
  • Be in the pre-seed/early-stage financing phase i.e. less than €1M funding raised
  • Annual turnover of less than €1M
  • Employ between 1 and 99 people full-time.

NGOs can apply under the Start-up category if the project meets one of the additional following criteria:

  • The project is set up as a company as a branch of the NGO
  • The project has a dedicated team and business plan, and clearly targets business sustainability/profitability (e.g. plans to spin off as an independent entity).

Finally, the start-up’s project must meet one of the three above-mentioned themes and be:

  • Digital i.e. based on a telecom, computer or cloud-based technology
  • Innovative, either intrinsically or compared to the local market
  • Local i.e. headquartered or with project management activities in the country of the project

  • Supervises the post Lagos shipping section, handles all incoming/outgoing shipments of freight and cargo. Position directly supervises five (5) Shipping Clerks.

Qualifications and Evaluations

  • Experience:  Minimum of three (3) years professional work experience in the Shipping and Transportation field is required.
  • Job Knowledge:  Good knowledge of  host country regulations and procedures that govern shipping. Good knowledge of post Shipping Contract Terms and Conditions.
  • Education Requirements: Two years of University studies is required.
  • Evaluations: This may be tested. Please specify your level of proficiency in the language listed.
  • Language:  Fluent in speaking/reading/writing of English is required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have strong supervisory management skill and be customer service oriented.
  • Must be able to use Excel spreadsheet, Word processing and Microsoft Outlook applications.

Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE) was incorporated in 1996 to manage the company’s deep offshore exploration and production assets. NAE has the distinction of being the first oil and gas company in Nigeria to produce oil from the country’s deep offshore.

    • Overseas – For study in a reputable overseas university

You must complete the following steps at least 24 hours before the test date:

Job Description

  • Ensure availability of materials (Products, Raw Materials), ensuring optimum stock level and effective inventory management.
  • Management and reconciliation of inventory/stock through adhering to processes and policies.

Your New Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile inventory through proper

The Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy is a one-year Fellowship programme initiated by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu that will offer life changing, nonpartisan and meritocratic opportunities to young Nigerians who desire to impact their generation. The value of investing in leadership has been well established in all sectors. The Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy is a program that aims to build skills, awareness, and a nuanced perspective among young people to tackle challenges in various fields including the public sector.

The program will offer first-hand experience into the process of governance at a State government level, Fellows will also participate in round table discussions with renowned leaders from both the public and private sectors and partake in domestic and international policy trips. It will offer bright young Nigerians the chance to support Nigeria’s recovery through inclusive, sustainable and development solutions.

Their assignments demand a capacity for quick learning and a willingness to work hard, often on issues outside of their area of expertise.
  • Responsibilities range from chairing interagency meetings and designing and implementing policies to drafting speeches for cabinet members to representing their agencies on various assignments.
  • In return for the privilege of participating in the Fellowship year, Fellows will be expected to apply what they have learned by contributing to the nation as greater leaders in their respective communities, professions, and in public service.
