  • The second component, the Ivan Karp Doctoral Research Awards, fosters work by the next generation of scholar-practitioners.

In these ways, ACIP strengthens public scholarship and institutions of public culture in South Africa and enhances our understanding of these vital sites of cultural production and social action.

MSIF Du Pré Grant 2022 for MS researchers and clinicians

April 12, 2022 by Divine A. Leave a Comment

The MSIF Du Pré Grant 2022 are open to applications for virtual or local projects and you are invited to apply if you qualify. To check eligibility and how to go about the application, check below.

MSIF Du Pré Grant 2022 for MS researchers and clinicians from low- and middle-income countries

The MSIF Du Pré Grant enables multiple sclerosis researchers and clinicians from low- and middle-income countries to make short visits (up to six months) to established MS research centres, outside of their own country.

During the visit or virtual project, participants either gain expertise or carry out parts of joint research projects. This benefits care for people with MS and supports collaborative research. Following the award, we expect applicants to use the newly developed expertise and networks, and continue MS research and/or clinical practice in low- and middle-income countries.

Visits may last between two and six months. Each grant is up to a maximum of £6,000 GBP, to cover the cost of travel and living expenses or to top up an existing grant to extend a visit. *For 2022 we are more flexible on the use of funds if virtual or local projects are proposed, but this must be agreed upon in the project proposal.

See- nordic-africa-institute-african-guest-researchers-scholarships-2023

Opportunity Funds Program Scholars must attend all group sessions held at the location to which they applied: Lagos or Abuja. Advisers will need to spend time with each scholar so as to provide the best guidance for them. However, meetings will continue to take place until you receive a fully funded admission and leave for the U.S. in August of the following year.

Responsibility for Scholars

  • All OFP Scholars must commit their time and energy towards applying to institutions that can offer a full scholarship.
