US Dept of State Pan Africa Youth Leadership Program 2022 for high school students and adult mentors.

The primary program themes are civic education, community service, entrepreneurship, and youth leadership development. Through a virtual platform, participants will directly engage with U.S. host communities to take part in leadership and civic education workshops, visit U.S. community organizations, explore project planning and development, and participate in cultural and community-building activities. The program will bring participants together virtually for live synchronous sessions two days a week. Participants will complete asynchronous content and activities independently in between synchronous sessions. Assistance with internet access and devices required to participate in the program is available.

Eligibility requirements for Student Applicants:

  • Be a citizen or legal resident living in Namibia (applicants with dual U.S. citizenship will not be considered)
  • Be between 15 and 18 years old on the start date of the exchange;
  • Have proficiency in English;
  • Demonstrate good academic performance, an interest in community service and volunteer activities, leadership potential, good communication, and a positive attitude;
  • Work cooperatively in a team setting and appreciate the opinions of others; and
  • Have permission from parent(s) or legal guardian(s) to participate in the program.

Eligibility requirements Adult Mentor Applicants:

  • Be a citizen or legal resident living in Namibia (applicants with dual U.S. citizenship are not eligible for PAYLP);
  • Be teachers, trainers, and/or community leaders who work with youth and have a demonstrated interest in assisting youth to become productive and responsible members of society;
  • Have proficiency in English.
  • Demonstrate positive leadership and service, and exhibit a high level of open-mindedness, flexibility, and interpersonal skills;
  • Work cooperatively in a team setting and appreciate the opinions of others;
  • Willing to take on the dual role of mentor as well as exchange participant; and
  • Commit to the continued mentorship of the youth participants for follow-on activities.

Eligibility for application of Nigeria LNG (NLNG) Prize for Science

  • Applicants must be scientists worldwide (Nigerians and non-Nigerians) involved in the application of science to proffer innovations in sustainable food security.
  • Members of the Advisory Board or Panel of Judges or their relatives are not allowed to enter their works for the Science Prize during their year of service as well as the following year.
  • NLNG staff or their family members are ineligible to enter for the prize.
  • The work should be of outstanding merit and should have advanced the frontiers of knowledge and/or provide an innovative solution in the area of sustainable food security.
  • The submission for consideration must be original and must indicate the specific area of merit; and all submissions must relate to that particular area.
  • All material in support of the entry must be submitted within the time stipulated.

Application Process

  • All applicants must complete and submit their entries online via  the application portal
  • As the intention is to recognize the most relevant and effective solution to a prescribed problem for which Nigeria benefits, works of collaboration by two or more persons are also welcome.
  • Only one entry per contestant(s) is permitted per competition year.
  • Entries not submitted by the stated deadline and according to stated conditions shall not be considered.
  • The prize will be awarded for no other reason than excellence.

What is NECO GCE Walk-in Candidate’s Registration?

NECO GCE Walk-in Candidate’s Registration is a new scheme introduced by NECO to ensure that all interested candidates who were not able to apply for the NECO GCE exam before the closing date have an opportunity to apply at the exam center.

The National Examination Council (NECO) wishes to to inform all candidates who couldn’t register for the NECO GCE (Nov/Dec) Registration Form 2022 | SSCE External examinations during the normal registration window that they can utilize the opportunity of the new scheme introduced by the council called i.e. Walk-in candidates.

NECO GCE Walk-in Candidates Introduction

The NECO Nov/Dec (GCE) ’Walk-in Candidates’ registration is for intending candidates of  the , Nov/Dec (GCE) examinations who were unable to register during the normal registration period.

This scheme provides interested candidates register and sit for the examination as ‘walk-in candidates’.

NECO Nov/Dec (GCE) Walk-in Candidates Registration Period

The ’walk-in candidates registration will commence after the deadline for normal registration and continue throughout the duration of the examination.

NECO GCE 2021/2022 Walk-In registration commences at Midnight of 22nd November, 2021 to 21st December, 2021.

Note: Walk-In candidates must register 24 hours before the intended Paper they wish to sit for.

NECO Nov/Dec (GCE) Walk-in Candidates Registration Guidelines

Candidates who wish to register and sit for 2021 NOV/DEC SSCE after the closing date must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Candidates must complete their registration within twenty- four hours to the scheduled time of the paper(s) that they intend to sit for
  • The Walk-in-Candidate’s fee for the examination is twenty thousand naira only (N20, 000.00) per candidate
  • Candidates are to pay the registration fee to NECO TSA and present evidence of payment at the NECO State Office.
  • Candidates are to collect activated registration scratch cards from NECO State Office.
  • Biometrics enrollment is mandatory for this examination.
  • Candidates are to report to the examination centre on the date and time of the scheduled examination with evidence of registration (Photocard).

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of all candidates that took part in the 2021 mop-up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) exercise. We will be showing you how to successfully check your JAMB mop-up result here.

The examination was held in 92 centres nationwide including the Board’s Professional Testing Centres and the Ikoyi Correctional Facility.

  • After your payment is successful, you can proceed to print your result slip.
