Job Description/ Responsibilities

  • Engage partners and local government officials of all levels with a view to deepening and broadening One Acre Fund’s State and local government networks in Nigeria.
  • Create project plans and budgets, and manage concurrent projects

  • Track and manage risks and issues from local government affecting field operations.

No TIN, No Bank Withdrawal from January 2020| FG Issues Fresh Threats

The Federal Government (FG) of Nigeria has released an official statement that from January 2020, millions of Nigerians without TIN may be denied access to their bank accounts as regards to the recent passage of Finance Bill as amended by the National Assembly.

What is TIN?

TIN stands for Tax Identification Number. A Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) is an identifying number used for tax purposes in Nigeria.

What does FG mean by No TIN No Bank Account?

The assembly had amended sections 33, 49 & 58 of the Personal Income Tax Act, making it mandatory for individuals to produce their Tax Identification Numbers (TIN) before they can operate existing or new bank accounts in Nigeria.

All Nigerians who do not have TIN will not be able to operate their bank accounts from January 2nd, 2020.

What is JAMB CAPS Admission Transfer Approval Portal?

The JAMB CAPS Transfer Approval Page is one of the new features of the JAMB CAPS as stated earlier. On the Transfer approval page, candidates are notified of the intention of their school of choice to transfer them from the course they initially applied to study to another course. The candidates now have the right to either accept or reject the transfer.

Many candidates seeking admission do not know about the JAMB CAPS Transfer Approval Page. This is one of the reasons many are either yet to gain admission or have lost their admission.

After accepting the course transfer, you will have to proceed to apply for JAMB change of course here so that the new course will reflect on your admission letter. If not, you may not be able to print your Admission letter of course while waiting.

How To Check Your Transfer Approval Page on JAMB CAPS

  • Go to jamb.org.ng/efacility
  • Login to your JAMB CAPS Portal using username and password (the exact one created during JAMB reg)
  • Once you are logged in, below “My O’level”, you will see TRANSFER APPROVAL”, click on it.
  • For candidates who have not been transferred to another course they will see  “No program transfer consideration”
  • But if your school wants to transfer you to another course, you will see the name of your school, the course, the date it was created and other details. At the point, you can now either accept or reject the transfer.

How to Pay Back Trader Moni Loan / Market Moni Loan Using Scratch Cards

Bank of Industry (BOI) has rolled out its voucher-based loan repayment recharge cards for the GEEP TraderMoni, MarketMoni, and FarmerMoni loans.

Through a flexible weekly loan repayment plan of N430 per week paid over six months or N860 per week paid over three months, TraderMoni beneficiaries can use the cards to pay back their loans and qualify for the next loan of N15,000 etc.

Trader Moni Payment Structure and How to Collect Higher Amount

The first stage, you collect ₦10,000. When you pay back ₦10,250 before or within 6 months, you will be able to collect ₦15,000.

When you collect ₦15,000, you are expected to pay back ₦15,375 before or within 6 months, you will be able to collect ₦20,000 loan.

When you collect ₦20,000, you are expected to pay back ₦21,000 before or within 6 months, you will be able to collect ₦50,000 loan.

When you collect ₦50,000, you are expected to payback ₦52,500 before or within 6 months, you will be able to collect ₦100,000 loan which you are also expected to pay.

Nigerian Navy Direct Short Service Course 28 Enlistment Aptitude Test

  • Below are shortlisted candidates for DSSC 27 Aptitude Test scheduled to hold in 9 centres across the nation on 30 November 2020 at 0730 (7:30am).
  • Candidates are to check and proceed to the centres indicated; all centres of choice selected by applicants were upheld except where doubts exist in the filling of the forms.
  • Candidates who applied for Abuja, Port-Harcourt and Lagos should note that there are 2 centres each, hence they should endeavor to confirm which of the centres their names appear and proceed there.
  • Only those on a centre’s list would be allowed into the centre for the test.

Documents and Materials Needed for Nigerian Navy Aptitude Test

Candidates are to come along to the Aptitude Test Centres with the following:

  • Parents/Guardian Consent Form.
  • Photocopies of Degree/HND certificate.
  • NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate (Compulsory. Serving Personnel to present letter from unit /ID card).
  • Writing materials (2B pencil, eraser and sharpener only)

Mobile phones and any other forms of communication devices are prohibited from the examination halls.
