The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan is providing scholarships to Pakistani students who wish to pursue Master’s and Ph.D. degree programs.

CHED-Tulong Dunong Scholarship in Philippines, which is fully funded and sponsored by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED Philippines), is presently accepting applications from eligible students.

CHED-Tulong Dunong Scholarship in Philippines

The CHED-Tulong Dunong scholarship program aims to provide financial assistance to Filipino students who are facing financial challenges in pursuing their undergraduate degrees in college.

It is offered by the Commission on Higher Education, and is available for both private and public higher education institutions, covering all degree programs.

This scholarship program is part of CHED’s long-term development plan to ensure “Access and Equity” for all students, by establishing and maintaining scholarship, grant-in-aid, and loan programs for deserving students.

To qualify for the scholarship, students must have passed the last two semesters of their degree and be enrolled in identified priority courses in duly authorized public or private colleges.

Financial Benefits of the CHED-Tulong Dunong Scholarship

The financial support provided to students includes the full amount of tuition fees up to a maximum of Php12,000.00 per academic year.

Additionally, there are other financial assistance programs available, such as the Full Merit Program which offers P15,000 per semester, the Half Merit Program which offers P7,500 per semester, and the Study Now Pay Later Plan which also provides P7,500 per semester.

Eligibility Criteria for the CHED-Tulong Dunong Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Must be a citizen of the Philippines.
  2. Must have completed high school and earned units in college, or must be a passer of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) or the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT).
  3. The family or gross income of the applicant must not exceed Three Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP 400,000.00).
  4. Must not have already completed any graduate programs.
  5. Applicants are allowed to apply for only a single CHED scholarship or financial assistance program.

Required Documents for the CHED-Tulong Dunong Scholarship

When applying for the CHED-Tulong Dunong scholarship program for Filipino students, applicants are required to submit the following documents:

  1. Completed CHED StuFAPs Application (OSS Form 01)
  2. Certified copy of their High School Report Card for the third year, and grades for the first three grading periods for the fourth year
  3. The latest Income Tax Return (ITR), or a Certificate of Tax Exemption, or a Copy of Contract/Proof of Income of parents/guardian from the Bureau of Internal Revenue

Who is Achraf Hakimi?

Achraf Hakimi is a Moroccan professional footballer who plays for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Morocco national team. Achraf Hakimi’s ex-wife was denied share of fortune as all his assets where found in his mother’s name. This sparked outrage and cheers across various social media platforms.

Hiba Abouk, a spanish actress, filed for divorce in March 2023 and requested half of Hakimi’s fortune, to her dismay, she found out that all his properties and assets were registered under his mother’s name.

During the ongoing divorce hearings, it was discovered that Hakimi, had placed 80% of his wealth in his mother’s name, including houses, cars, clothes, jewelry, and millions in salary.

There has been a global debate about Hakimi’s decision to register all his assets under his mother’s name, he has received praises from people tagging him wise in protecting his wealth, while others have strongly criticized him and his mother (Saida Mouh) for their actions.

It is also alleged that since Hakimi doesn’t have any asset, he is entitled to 50% of his ex-wife’s assets, if this pulls through, the football star is set to receive 3 Million Dollars from Hiba as their divorce gets finalized.

Summary 

  • Coordinate quality control program at the plant and customer site to ensure materials and concrete are in compliance with quality plan and specifications / concrete standards, monitoring quality objectives, continuous improvement of QC in line with business management systems

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance of the plant with Lafarge safety standards
  • Regular VPC & BOG conduct in the plant and/or offices to assess H&S compliance, with documented report
  • Concrete strength performance report monthly highlighting the Standard deviation, Cement Efficiency, Overdesign and Sampling frequency
  • Mix optimization: carry out mix adjustment and trials with the aim of cost reduction.
  • Close out customer complaints as soon as they arise (zero/month).
  • Pro-active approach towards interaction between in-house departments within the plants.
  • Engaging the customer on international standards as applicable in Lafarge requirements.
  • Implement Integrated Management System in line ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015
  • Identification of materials/ carrying out trial tests for concrete
  • Ensure all KPI’s are done and achieved as per QC Plan
  • Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by N+1

Requirements And Qualifications

  • Minimum of B.Sc. Degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemistry or relevant course of study
