Federal Government of Nigeria, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) is responsible for coordinating, regulating and supervising Christian Pilgrimage in Nigeria. NCPC organizes pilgrimage programs annually to the Holy Lands of Rome, Greece and Israel. The Commission recruits various medical personnel on adhoc and voluntary basis to provide medical services to pilgrims.

NCPC Medical Team Application 2019

The Commission wishes to call for applications from qualified Christian Medical Personnel for the 2019 Federal Medical Team Examination.

Qualifications and Requirements

Possession of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) training certificate is an added advantage. Candidates should also be in practice.

The online application and Examination is the only means through which candidates will be selected as members of the FMT. Kindly disregard calls or e-mails from persons asking for credentials and money to enrol on the team.

Federal Medical Team members that participated in the pilgrimage exercise in the 2016, 2017 and 2018 and those already serving a ban are not eligible to be part of the 2018 team and risk a ten-year ban should they choose to apply.

Those on the 2018 Federal Medical Team and are yet to travel need not re-apply.

How to apply for NCPC Medical Team 2019

The examination fees for the various categories are:

  • Doctors: N15,000
  • Pharmacists: N13,000
  • Nurses & Others: N11,000
Interested candidates are to apply online through the Commission’s website www.ncpc.gov.ng/2019-medical-aplication from 15th April -16th May, 2019.
Please note that only 1 Doctor, 2 Nurses will be selected from each state.
1 Pharmacist and CHEW will be selected from each geopolitical zone. Pass Mark is 70% for Doctors and Pharmacists and 60% for Nurses and Others.

Closing Date and Exam Date for NCPC Medical Team Application 2019

Please be informed that the application closes at 4pm on 16th May, 2019.

The Exam is scheduled to take place on 1st June 2019 at the JAMB centres in selected states across the six geo-political zones.

NLNG Post Graduate Scholarship Scheme

This scheme was launched in October 2012 with an annual intake of 15 beneficiaries to study in leading UK universities with an award value ranging between N9 and N11 million, depending on the course of study and course duration.

Eligibility

All prospective beneficiary must-

  • University of Cranfield

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Possess minimum of 2nd Class Upper degree in a relevant field of study
  • Completed NYSC programme
  • Obtained not less than a 8.0 IELTS score
  • Not be no more than 30 years of age as at the time of application
  • Be resident in Nigeria
  • Provide letter of identification from respective Local Government Councils.
  • Provide letter of consent from employer (if in service of any organization)
  • Possess international passport valid for travel, at least, one year from September 2019
  • Be able to obtain UK Tier-4 student Visa upon being successful
  • Provide evidence that they are available to travel in September 2019 if selected
  • Not a direct relative to staff of Nigeria LNG Limited

Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, are inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates, for admission into the Full-time Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes and Certificate Programmes for the 2019/2020 Academic Session.

PTI Online Sales of 2019/2020 Full-Time Admission Forms for Higher National Diploma (HND) and Certificate Programmes

PTI ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

HND and ND candidates are to possess five (5) Ordinary Level Credit passes relevant to the choice of programme which must include English Language and Mathematics, while HND candidates must possess in addition to the above requirement, National Diploma (ND) relevant to their choice of programmes.

COST OF PTI HND ADMISSION FORM 2019/2020

All candidates applying for HND, General Welding and Commercial Diving Programmes in PTI, are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Ten thousand naira (N10, 000.00) for each PTI admission form for 2019/2020 Academic Session.

PTI 2019/2020 NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) Post UTME Form

National Diploma Candidates that have already applied through JAMB should visit JAMB Brochure to know the required Subjects they are to write during the examination as the Subjects for the examination are not the same for all the programmes. (Watch out for Post UTME Advert as from June, 2019)

How to apply for PTI HND Admission and Certificate Programmes 2019/2020

Candidates offering HND, General Welding and Commercial Diving programmes should apply directly to Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) by following the steps below:

  1. Visit pti.edu.ng
  2. Click on “Apply for 2019/2020 HND ” under the Admission Menu
  3. Fill in the On-line “Sign on page” and Click on “Click Here to Sign Up” at the bottom of the page. (Note: Write down the Username and Password for subsequent use).
  4. This will take you to the Remittal Retrieval Reference (RRR) page where you generate the RRR code.
  5. Print the RRR code page and take it to any bank for payment. Make sure you keep the RRR print out.
  6. After the payment of N10, 000.00 which is the cost of each admission form, return to the PTI website (pti.edu.ng) and click on “Return to my Application”.
  7. Enter your User Name and Password and click LOGIN
  8. Fill in the online application form and print out the completed online application form which will be presented at the examination/Interview centre along with your RRR print out.

DATE FOR HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) INTERVIEW

The interview for HND candidates will hold from 24TH – 28TH June, 2019, at the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State. The transcripts of candidates offering HND programmes should reach admission office from the Institutes they graduated from on or before 21ST June, 2019. The transcript should be sent through courier service. While coming for the interview, candidates should come along with evidence or the receipt of transcript fee payment.

DATE FOR ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR GENERAL WELDING: CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME                                                                                 

The entrance examination for General Welding Certificate programme will hold on Saturday, June 29TH, 2019 at Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State.

General Requirements for Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) 2019 Recruitment

  • Be a Nigerian Citizen by birth or descent
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18-30 years
  • Not be less than 1.7 metres in height, for male and 1.64 metres for female.
  • Have a fully expanded chest measurement of not less than 0.87 metres, male.
  • Be certified by a Government Medical Officer to be physically and mentally fit for appointment in Service

  11. Click on the Continue button if you wish to pay with your card immediately. If you wish to use other payment channels like ATM, Cash at the Bank or Quickteller, please note the transaction ID as it will be required.
  12. On the Interswitch Payment page, enter your card details and click on the Pay button.
  13. The status of your payment will be displayed on the “My Payment Section” An SMS and email containing your unique Transaction Identification and payment status will be sent to you after payment.
  14. Click on the Continue button.
  15. Once payment is completed, you will be asked to provide the following:
    Year of Exam and
    b. JAMB Registration Number
  16. After entering the information correctly, new options for preferred course/institution and second choices will appear. Options available will be based on availability.

EducationUSA Opportunity Funds Program (OFP) | U.S. Embassy & Consulate in Nigeria 2019 Application

The United States Embassy, Nigeria are looking for academically qualified and highly motivated, low-income students in Nigeria to join the EducationUSA Opportunity Funds Program (OFP).

Opportunity Funds Program (OFP) finances the cost of the application process, which includes registration fees for required standardized examinations and also provide free membership to the U.S. EducationUSA Advising Center for its participants.

Who can apply for the EducationUSA Opportunity Funds Program (2019)?

Applicants are welcome from all the states in Nigeria. However, students must be able to reach U.S. Embassy & Consulate in Nigeria offices in Abuja or Lagos on a monthly basis during the program for full participation.

SELECTION CRITERIA

The selection of finalists for OFP is highly competitive, given limited funding. The program look for applicants with:

  • Strong academic record/ transcript
  • Robust participation in extracurricular activities
  • Involvement in leadership roles
  • Excellent community service participation
  • Financial Need

NOTE:  Undergraduate Applicants– If WAEC results are not available; the student must be currently in SS3. If WAEC results are available, they must be from May/June WAEC.

Students who have already started a University education are NOT eligible to apply.

    Undergraduate Applicants– Attach a copy of your WAEC “O” Level results (from WAEC website).  Include Cambridge A’Level or IGSCE results if applicable or available.
    Graduate Applicants– Attach a copy of your Final year results and degree results (if available) First Class only (STEM majors preferred).
  • Letters of recommendation:
    Undergraduate Applicants: Request a teacher or your school principal to complete a letter of recommendation form, attesting to your character, talent and skills.  Please do not include a basic testimonial that does not talk about you as an individual.
    Graduate Applicants: Provide the details of a lecturer, professor, or Head of Department (HOD) that we can contact to find out more about you.
  • Transcript:
    Undergraduate Applicants: Send a scanned copy of your transcript from JS1 to SS3 including your mock and first term results, if possible.
    Graduate Applicants– Send a scanned copy of your transcripts that show a GPA of 4.5 or above on a 5.0 scale. 
  • Essays:
    Write two essays, one from Group A and one from Group B, each of about 250– 300 words. The essay topics will be on the application form you receive. (Essay topics will be found on the form)
