JAMB officials has announced to the public the JAMB 2019 Results Statistics. See full details below

The registrar, Mr Oloyede said that about 1,792,719 candidates sat for the JAMB exams, while 34,120 candidates had their results withheld for examination malpractice.

366,757 candidates scored between 200 and 249, which is a significant improvement from the 2018 results.

361,718 candidates scored between 180 and 199 as against 325,152 in 2018, while 494,484 scored between 160 and 179 as against 455,898 last year.

410,844 candidates scored between 140 and 159 as against 346,825 recorded in 2018 while also 99,463 scored between 100 and 139 as against 64,712 in 2018.”

15,145 results were withheld for further clarification.

How to know if your JAMB Result 2019 is withheld

Mr Oloyode (JAMB Boss) had this to say-

For the first three days or between now and Monday, the only means of checking the results of candidates would be through the Short Code (55019). This is to ensure that fraudsters who would want to exploit candidates by reproducing messages and sending such messages to them are frustrated. It is also to prevent those whose results are withheld from wasting their money at cyber cafes or creating unnecessary crowd at CBT centres.

“There is no need to approach any CBT Centre or cyber café to check results. Those who were ABSENT, got their Registration CANCELLED or have their results WITHHELD will be told.

Nigerian AGIP Post Graduate Scholarship Award 2019/2020

Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE) Limited, on behalf of the NNPC/NAE PSC, is committed to the training and development of manpower as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

In pursuance of this, NAE invites applications from suitably qualified and interested Nigerian graduates for the 2019/2020 Post Graduate Scholarship Award Scheme. The award is in two categories: –

Overseas – For study in a reputable overseas university
Local – For study in a recognized Nigerian university

Eligibility/Requirements for NAE Post Graduate Scholarship 2019/2020

To qualify for 2019/2020 NAE Post Graduate Scholarship Award scheme, applicants MUST:

1. Possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian university.
2. Have secured admission into a Nigerian or Overseas university (based on the category being applied for) for a one year Master’s Degree programme in any of the disciplines listed below.
3. Not above 28 years of age by December 31st, 2019.
4. Have completed the one year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
5. Possess an international passport valid for travel at least one year from September, 2019 (applicable to overseas category).

Course of Study- Who is eligible for the 2019/2020 NAE Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme?

Only candidates with offer of admission in disciplines related to the following areas should apply;
• Geosciences
• Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, Chemical)
• Petroleum Economics
• Law (Oil and Gas/Petroleum)

Candidates should have the following clearly scanned documents before starting the application process:

Passport photograph (450 × 450 pixel) with white background not more than 3 months old
Provisional admission letter for post graduate studies 2019/2020 session into any reputable university – Local/Overseas. This admission letter must be for the course stated on the candidate’s application.

Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) invites application from interested first year undergraduates in Nigerian Universities for the 2019 NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Award. The scheme seeks to promote academic excellence by supporting top-grade Nigeria students through tertiary institutions.

NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship 2019/2020

This was founded as a critical component of education intervention programme for NLNG host communities in 1998 and later opened up to the rest of Nigeria in 2003.

A total of 2,833 undergraduates from various universities in Nigeria have benefited from the scholarship scheme with a spend of over N600 million.

The value of the scholarship has been reviewed upward from N100, 000 to N300, 000 per awardee for an academic year and it runs throughout the duration of the student’s course.

Requirements and Eligibility- NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship

All prospective beneficiary must:

Have excellent/very good WAEC or NECO result in one sitting
Score very high in JAMB exam
Be a certified Full-Time Year One student of any Nigerian University at the time of application
Not be on any other Scholarship Award from other companies or agencies
Not be a spouse, child, ward or direct relation of staff of NLNG.

Click on the “Our CSR” menu to select “Education” from the drop down menu
Click on “Scholarship” link and then on the “Under-Graduate” link to access the application portal.

Please Note: As stated by the Acting Registrar, National Examination Council (NECO), Mr Abubakar Gana, admission into the Federal Government Unity Colleges would be based on 60 percent for merit and 40 percent for quota and others.

Go to NECO results portal at https://result.neco.gov.ng/.
Select exam year i.e. 2020.
Select exam type i.e. National Common Entrance Examination.
Supply your registration number in the required column.
Finally, click on Check Result button to access the common entrance exam result.

Correct Steps on How To Check NCEE 2020 Result on NCEE Website

Go to NCEE registration portal at https://ncee.neco.gov.ng/.
Login by supplying your Email/Phone Number and Password in the required columns.
Click On Registered Candidates
Select Completed -then Click on the Respective Registered candidates to view the result.
