Ingredients and Recipe for making Tiger Nut drink with dates and coconut

  • Tiger nut- 2 1/2 Cups
  • Coconut- 1 Large
  • Dates- 10 Pieces (The more dates you add, the sweeter the drink you made).
  • Water- To blend the nuts and dates. Quantity depends on how much you have to blend so use as required
  • Blender- To blend

Steps to prepare tiger nut drink with dates and coconut

Step 1. Wash the tiger nuts properly. Put it in a bowl, add water and soak for 24 hours. Drain the water after soaking.

Step 2. Break the coconuts into small pieces, separate white part from the shell for easy blending.

Step 3. Soak the dates in hot water to soften. Take out the seeds from the dates.

Step 4. Put the soaked tiger nuts, coconut and softened seedless dates to a blender. Add enough water and blend until “smooth”. Please note that it won’t be completely smooth.

Step 5. Use fine sieve, to squeeze and sieve the blend until you get all the milk out. You can do this repeatedly, put the blend back into the blender, add water, blend and sieve again until you extract as much milk as possible.

This is all you need to make your Tiger nut drink.

You can serve the drink warm or chilled.

How to properly preserve Tiger nut drink

Did you receive any message from the Nigerian Prison Service? An SMS was sent to all successfully shortlisted applicants. Ensure you don’t have DND service activated on your phone, if not you won’t receive message.

How to do JAMB Change of Course and Institution 2020/2021- JAMB Correction of Data

JAMB DATA CORRECTION- This is to notify all those who during the course of applying for the 2020/2021 JAMB examination made mistakes while filling their JAMB registration forms or wish to change their choice of school or course of study, that they can now make corrections for the below listed items:

  • Correction of Name
  • State/LGA of Origin
  • Choices of Institution/Courses
  • Gender Correction
  • Date Of Birth

Important Notice-The JAMB corrections are not free, you will be expected to pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira Only (N2, 500) with your master card online.

We will also like to inform you, that you cannot change your institution to an institution that has already concluded its screening exercise.

JAMB PROCEDURE TO CHANGE COURSE OR CHANGE INSTITUTION 2020/2021

  • Create a JAMB profile via the Sign Up (New User) or existing users, simply type in your login details.
  • Login with your email address and password.
  • Once logged in, you will be taken to the landing page where you will see all available services.
  • Select “Correction of Data”. This is available on the side bar or on the Home page
  • Once selected, the menu item “Course/Institution” will be revealed. Click this.
  • Once you select this service, a Transaction ID is generated for this service. This will be displayed on the confirmation page screen.
  • Click on the Continue button if you wish to pay with your card immediately. If you wish to use other payment channels like ATM, Cash at the Bank or Quickteller, please note the transaction ID as it will be required.
  • Once payment is completed, you will be asked to provide the following:
    a. Year of Exam b. JAMB Registration Number
  • After entering the information correctly, new options for Preferred course/Institution and second choices will appear. Options available will be based on availability.
  • Click Submit to complete your application.
  • JAMB will now process your application. If Approved, your details will be changed as requested.

All those who successfully registered for the 2020 JAMB UTME exam automatically has a JAMB CAPS profile created for them. The only thing required from such candidates is to use the email address and password that was used during the registration to login. You can login to your JAMB CAPS Portal Here.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of a second-class upper degree (2:1) or HND upper credit with a master’s degree from a Nigerian or foreign institution in any field of study

Age and Experience:

  • Not more than 26 years old by December 2019
  • Must have completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Intermediate proficiency level in Microsoft Suite applications
  • No work experience is required
