3. Financial management:

• Extract and analyse financial statements, cash flow forecasts and other complex financial reports, providing accurate assessment
• Contributes to the growth of deposits, loans and overdrafts to increase profitability of the branch.

4. Customer service:

Eligibility Requirements for Commonwealth Foundation Grant

Eligibility for grant funding under this call depends on the following criteria:

1. The applicant is a registered not-for-profit civil society organisation (CSO).
2. The applicant is registered in an eligible Commonwealth Foundation member country and the proposed project will be implemented in the
   country of registration. Please see a full list of eligible countries at commonwealthfoundation.com/grants. (Projects can be implemented in one or more eligible Commonwealth Foundation member countries. and can have a national, sub-national, regional or international remit).
3. In multi-country projects, the Foundation encourages collaboration with partners in each involved country
4. The applicant has documented experience, over at least two years, working on participatory governance and advocacy within the proposed
   area/theme(s).
5. The total grant amount requested must be between £15,000 and £30,000 per year for a maximum of two years.
6. The requested grant amount should not exceed 70% of the applicant organisation’s total annual income.
7. The average of the applicant organisation’s total annual income over the past two years must be less than £2m.
8. The project proposal must address at least one of the priority themes and demonstrate appropriate and meaningful integration of gender considerations.
9. Proposals must relate to projects that are expected to begin within the second half of 2022.

Job Purpose

Qualifications & Experience

Airport Operations, Passenger Handling:

• Minimum of ‘A’ Level or equivalent qualification (Higher Secondary School). Must have completed relevant and recognised professional training courses in Customer Services and Ground Operations.

Experience:

• Given the specific requirements at outstations, a minimum of 5 years? experience is required in Airport.
• Customer handling / Operations including at least 3 years in a supervisory position.

Knowledge/Skills:

• A working knowledge of Reservations/Fares and Ticketing, Departure Control Systems.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Regulations & Weight & Balance. Knowledge of Baggage Tracing and Claims Handling.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and required local language.
• Candidate should have the right to work and live in Nigeria.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word/ E-mail / Excel advantageous and local languages.

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Sadiya Umar Farouq has announced the commencement of the N-Power, N-Knowledge programme in the six (6) geo-political including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

She made the announcement through a statement by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Bashir Nura Alkali . He said,’ N-Knowledge is a component of the N-Power Programme focused on equipping young Nigerians with relevant skills and certification to become competent workers, innovators and entrepreneurs prepared for both the domestic and global digital job market.

Npower Knowledge 2021 Beneficiaries

N-Power (N-Knowledge) programme will upskill 20,000 young Nigerians on the global radar as exporters of world class services and content in the creative and information technology sectors’.

The Permanent Secretary noted that the training component is targeted at developing competencies of the youth in software development and Hardware training which will development and Hardware training which will be catalyzed to make Nigeria compete in the outsourcing market for software development.
