WAEC GCE Registration Form 2019 (Second Series) – This is to inform all interested persons who wish to apply for the WAEC GCE (private) Second Series (August/September) Examination that the form is now on sales.

Please follow the necessary guidelines contained in this post, this is to ensure that you successfully register for your exam without any problem. It also contains success tips to pass your exam.

WAEC GCE 2019 2nd (Second) Series Registration Form

The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2019 – Second Series registration commenced on Monday, May 27, 2019.

Nineteen (19) subjects will be available for the examination.

All intending candidates for the examination are therefore, strongly advised to visit the Council’s corporate website- www.waecnigeria.org- to confirm available examination towns and subjects before obtaining the registration PIN.

How much is WAEC GCE Second Series 2019 Registration Form?

The cost for the WAEC GCE 2nd Series Registration Form is N13, 950 only. This amount must be paid in any of the accepted Bank Branch listed below and obtain the registration pin and VCD.

How To Register For WAEC GCE (Second Series) 2019 Online

After obtaining the Registration PIN from the bank/agents, candidates are to log on to https://registration.waecdirect.org/ to begin the registration process.

CANDIDATES WITH SPECIAL NEEDS: Candidates with special needs will also register online like other candidates but they must dearly state their disabilities e.g blind, low vision, spastic, speech, etc.

COMPLETION OF REGISTRATION: Candidates MUST conclude registration within two weeks of first access to the website during the registration period. They should ensure that their names, gender, passport photographs, dates of birth and subjects are correct. They are also to print the Admission Notice/Photo Card as evidence of successful registration which will serve as identification during the examination. The Result Checker PIN will also be on the Photo Card. Only Digital Personal Scanner should be used for fingerprint registration.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Candidates should note that registration fee is not refundable.
  • Candidates should print the examination Timetable at the completion of their registration.
  • Entries must be uploaded with good quality passport size photographs, not “wait and get” photographs. The background of such photographs MUST NOT BE BLUE OR RED. The size should be 275 by 314 pixels. Entries with unacceptable passport photographs will be rejected.
  • Candidates should study the Regulations and Syllabuses as well as the Timetable for the examination which they can download from WAEC website (http://www.waeconline.org.ng/) WAEC Direct Online Result Checker 2019/2020- Click Here using the Registration PIN.
  • Candidates must go to examination halls in mufti and without arms. No professional uniform of any kind will be allowed in the examination halls.
  • Candidates must come into the examination hall with their original Photo Cards.

Follow the procedures below to check your National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) result online for free:

  1. Go to  https://result.neco.gov.ng/
  2. Select Examination year i.e 2019
  3. Select Examination type i.e National Common Entrance Examination
  4. Enter the Examination Token
  5. Enter candidate Registration Number
  6. Click check result to check the result
  7. Click on the “Print Status” button to print it out.

Types of Messages to be Received after checking NCEE Results online

Not Shortlisted For Consideration (NCEE 2019), what does it mean?

If you check your admission status and see this type of message, it means there is no admission given to you yet.

What does No Qualification Details mean in NCEE 2019?

It means you did not get up to the required score for admission into any of the Government Unity Schools. You may consider applying for other schools admission.

JAMB 2019 Result Statistics

JAMB officials has announced to the public the JAMB 2019 Results Statistics. See full details below

The registrar, Mr Oloyede said that about 1,792,719 candidates sat for the JAMB exams, while 34,120 candidates had their results withheld for examination malpractice.

366,757 candidates scored between 200 and 249, which is a significant improvement from the 2018 results.

361,718 candidates scored between 180 and 199 as against 325,152 in 2018, while 494,484 scored between 160 and 179 as against 455,898 last year.

410,844 candidates scored between 140 and 159 as against 346,825 recorded in 2018 while also 99,463 scored between 100 and 139 as against 64,712 in 2018.”

15,145 results were withheld for further clarification.

How to know if your JAMB Result 2019 is withheld

Mr Oloyode (JAMB Boss) had this to say-

For the first three days or between now and Monday, the only means of checking the results of candidates would be through the Short Code (55019). This is to ensure that fraudsters who would want to exploit candidates by reproducing messages and sending such messages to them are frustrated. It is also to prevent those whose results are withheld from wasting their money at cyber cafes or creating unnecessary crowd at CBT centres.

“There is no need to approach any CBT Centre or cyber café to check results. Those who were ABSENT, got their Registration CANCELLED or have their results WITHHELD will be told.

PTI ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

HND and ND candidates are to possess five (5) Ordinary Level Credit passes relevant to the choice of programme which must include English Language and Mathematics, while HND candidates must possess in addition to the above requirement, National Diploma (ND) relevant to their choice of programmes.

COST OF PTI HND ADMISSION FORM 2019/2020

All candidates applying for HND, General Welding and Commercial Diving Programmes in PTI, are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Ten thousand naira (N10, 000.00) for each PTI admission form for 2019/2020 Academic Session.

PTI 2019/2020 NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) Post UTME Form

National Diploma Candidates that have already applied through JAMB should visit JAMB Brochure to know the required Subjects they are to write during the examination as the Subjects for the examination are not the same for all the programmes. (Watch out for Post UTME Advert as from June, 2019)

How to apply for PTI HND Admission and Certificate Programmes 2019/2020

Candidates offering HND, General Welding and Commercial Diving programmes should apply directly to Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) by following the steps below:

  1. Visit pti.edu.ng
  2. Click on “Apply for 2019/2020 HND ” under the Admission Menu
  3. Fill in the On-line “Sign on page” and Click on “Click Here to Sign Up” at the bottom of the page. (Note: Write down the Username and Password for subsequent use).
  4. This will take you to the Remittal Retrieval Reference (RRR) page where you generate the RRR code.
  5. Print the RRR code page and take it to any bank for payment. Make sure you keep the RRR print out.
  6. After the payment of N10, 000.00 which is the cost of each admission form, return to the PTI website (pti.edu.ng) and click on “Return to my Application”.
  7. Enter your User Name and Password and click LOGIN
  8. Fill in the online application form and print out the completed online application form which will be presented at the examination/Interview centre along with your RRR print out.

The interview for HND candidates will hold from 24TH – 28TH June, 2019, at the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State. The transcripts of candidates offering HND programmes should reach admission office from the Institutes they graduated from on or before 21ST June, 2019. The transcript should be sent through courier service. While coming for the interview, candidates should come along with evidence or the receipt of transcript fee payment.

  8. Enter your JAMB registration number to fetch your details.
  9. Once you select this service, a Transaction ID is generated.
  10. Review the details displayed on the Confirmation Page. Also, note the Transaction ID displayed in a bold red font. The Transaction ID is useful for all future references concerning the Transaction. A copy of this transaction ID will be sent to your registered email address.
  11. Click on the Continue button if you wish to pay with your card immediately. If you wish to use other payment channels like ATM, Cash at the Bank or Quickteller, please note the transaction ID as it will be required.
  12. On the Interswitch Payment page, enter your card details and click on the Pay button.
  13. The status of your payment will be displayed on the “My Payment Section” An SMS and email containing your unique Transaction Identification and payment status will be sent to you after payment.
  14. Click on the Continue button.
  15. Once payment is completed, you will be asked to provide the following:
    Year of Exam and
    b. JAMB Registration Number
  16. After entering the information correctly, new options for preferred course/institution and second choices will appear. Options available will be based on availability.
  17. Click Submit to complete your application.
  18. JAMB will now process your application. If Approved, your details will be changed as requested.
