How to Apply for Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship 2019

All interested and qualified candidates should submit an Application Letter of not more than two (2) pages. The Letter must include the name of the candidate, course and year of study, state of origin and why the candidate believes that he or she should be given the award.

The Application Letter must be accompanied by:

  • A photocopy of the candidate’s current identity Card
  • A letter from the candidate’s current head of Department, including correct information on the candidate’s CGPA for the last academic session
  • A letter from the Registrar certifying that the candidate is a student of the institution
  • A copy of the candidate’s registration form for the current semester; and
  • Two (2) current passport photographs.

Precious Cornerstone University invites application for The Promoter’s Scholarship from all newly admitted undergraduate students and from students seeking admission to Precious Cornerstone University, Ibadan for the 2019/2020 session irrespective of nationality, state of origin, tribe, gender or religion.

About the Scholarship

The PCU Promoter’s Scholarship is a highly competitive Scholarship endowed by the University Chancellor, Bishop Francis Wale. It is part of the institution’s support services to exceptionally brilliant but indigent student who otherwise may no be able to afford University tertiary education.

  • The Scholarship will be offered on an annual basis to a newly admitted students and could be held, subject to satisfactory performance, for the duration of a beneficiary’s programme of study, provided such a student is also in good standing in character and leadership qualities.

Who can apply for PCU Promoter’s Scholarship?

Applicants for the scholarship must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Candidates can only apply once in an academic session: that is, Candidates that have applied in previous batch(es) of the 2019/2020 Promoter Scholarship are not eligible to apply again in subsequent batches until the next academic session.
  • Must have 5 O’ Level Credits or equivalent in English, Mathematics and other three relevant subjects to the area of study at only one sitting.
  • Minimum of 140 in 2019 JAMB is relevant subjects to area of study.
  • Must have registered/have been admitted/accepted offer as a student of PCU.
  • Performs satisfactorily in the University Scholarship Screening Examination; and
  • Maintains a Cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.50 to qualify for annual renewal of the Scholarship.

Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) invites application from interested first year undergraduates in Nigerian Universities for the 2019 NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Award. The scheme seeks to promote academic excellence by supporting top-grade Nigeria students through tertiary institutions.

NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship 2019/2020

This was founded as a critical component of education intervention programme for NLNG host communities in 1998 and later opened up to the rest of Nigeria in 2003.
A total of 2,833 undergraduates from various universities in Nigeria have benefited from the scholarship scheme with a spend of over N600 million.
The value of the scholarship has been reviewed upward from N100, 000 to N300, 000 per awardee for an academic year and it runs throughout the duration of the student’s course.

About the Award

The motive of the scholarship sponsor compasses preservation of the natural environment, agricultural and technical education in West Africa, the granting of scholarships, the restoration, preservation and promotion of the wealth of Hellenic civilization in Greece, Cyprus and elsewhere as well as the promotion of activities for social welfare. The Leventis Foundation enables talented young Nigerians to pursue further study at leading universities around the world.

Eligibility

  • Nigerian Citizenship
  • 1st or Upper 2nd Class Bachelor’s degree completed (GPA 3.8 or higher)
  • Excellent command of English language
  • At least three years of work experience
  • Ambitious individual

Number of Awards

The scholarship would be awarded to two individuals from Nigeria. Don’t be discouraged, you should apply.

Value of Award: Full tuition, accommodation and living expenses
