The Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports Development (FMYSD) has sought to tap from this fund for the express purpose of Human Capacity Training and Development, which in return has the potential to boost future income/profit and economic activities in general through impacting youths with the required digital skills needed in the 21st-century workplace.

There are 3 Empowerment and Training Programmes:

1) Green Stimulus Framework: This training programme is designed to develop a new breed of trained technicians with basic and advanced knowledge in renewable energy and smart agriculture.

JOB TITLE: SUPERVISORY PRESIDING OFFICER

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Shall receive all Election materials from the Electoral Officer on the eve of Elections
  •  Shall distribute Election materials to all the Presiding Officers under his area of supervision
  •  Shall ensure proper retrieval of Election materials from the Presiding Officer

JOB TITLE: PRESIDING OFFICER

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Shall be at the LGA two days before the Election to confirm posting
  • Shall be in-charge of EVM Machines at the Polling Units
  • Collect all Election materials from the Supervisory Presiding Officer (SPO) on the eve of the Elections and properly document them
  • Shall be in charge of the Polling Unit (PU) and paste all necessary Election materials such as Posters, Voters Register etc.

EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • May be a serving civil servant on grade level 8-10.
  • Graduate of any recognized higher institution with either 1st degree/HND or equivalent
  • May be a final year student of any Federal or State Tertiary Institutions.
  • May be a Diploma holder from any higher institution.
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must not be a card carrying member of any Political Party
  • Previous knowledge of operations of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) will be an added advantage

JOB TITLE: ASSISTANT PRESIDING OFFICER

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Shall handle the EVM in the absence of the Presiding Officer (PO) shall also handle the Voters Register for accreditation of  Voters at the Polling Unit (PU)

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced that the 2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) which ought to hold around June, will happen two months after.

Reason for Change in Date of WAEC Exam 2021/2022

WAEC said the change was as a result of their joint decision with the Nigeria Federal Ministry of Education based on the way Covid-19 made the academic calendar to change a bit.

Yes, JAMB 2021 registration has been postponed. A new date would be communicated to you all as soon as possible.

Reasons for JAMB 2021 Registration Postponement

The reason for the postponement was to give JAMB enough time to link the JAMB registration portal to NIN portal. This is to enable all applicants to register for both JAMB and NIN at the the same time.

According to JAMB 

To be sure all processes are completed before the commencement, the Board didn’t place its advertorial as it was yet to complete the process of a smooth pin vending and candidate access to the registration app for the 2021 UTME/DE.

”This delay is caused by some unforeseen circumstances occasioned by our determined effort to have a NIN integration. This challenge is being resolved and once that is done, all processes shall commence.”

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has postponed the commencement of registration for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE).

In pursuance of this, NAE invites applications from suitably qualified and interested Nigerian graduates for the 2021 / 2022 Post Graduate Scholarship Award Scheme. The award is in two categories:

  • Overseas – For study in a reputable overseas university
  • Local – For study in a recognized Nigerian university.

Who can apply for NAE Post Graduate Scholarship 2021?

To qualify for the 2021/2022 NAE Post Graduate Scholarship Award scheme, applicants MUST:

  • Possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian university.
  • Have secured admission into a Nigerian or Overseas university (based on the category being applied for) for a one-year Master’s Degree programme in any of the disciplines listed below.
  • Not above 28 years of age by December 31st, 2021.
  • Have completed the one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
  • Possess an international passport valid for travel at least one year from September 2021 (applicable to overseas category).
