The 2021 IMF Youth Fellowship Program provides an opportunity for young participants to become part of the global effort to build forward better and join the IMF at the forefront of the response to the crisis. Participants in the program will experience firsthand the IMF virtual Annual Meetings and participate in virtual training led by IMF experts. Selected fellows will get the opportunity to participate in a 2-day virtual workshop to meet with IMF management and senior staff and discuss current global economic issues including inclusive growth, inequality, digital economy and climate change.

Applicants should:

Documents Required for Npower Batch C Physical Verification

All successful candidates are expected to come to the physical verification exercise venue with the following documents:

• Reference identification number
• Valid means of Identification
• Academic credentials
• Education Credentials/Degree
• NYSC discharge certificate for the graduate programme
• State Origin Certificate (Optional)
• Print your BVN details (Optional)
• Passport photograph
• A valid identity card
• N-power deployment letter printout with your Reference number.

Criteria and Qualification for African Union, African Youth Ambassadors for Peace (AYAP)

An African Youth with demonstrated commitment and significant contribution to the promotion of sustainable peace and security. Applications from eligible youth, including young women, displaced persons and persons with disabilities who meet the following criteria are particularly encouraged:

• Be between the ages of 15 to 35 in tandem with the AU Youth age;
• Possess university degree in international relations, peace and conflict, political science, law and related areas; a master’s degree would be an added advantage; or, have at least 2 years’ experience in peace and security with demonstrated ability for advocacy on youth, peace and security issues as well as resource mobilization;
• Have experience in promoting and supporting peace processes, especially in initiating and facilitating multi-stakeholder dialogues and mediation efforts;
• Have a strong track record with the local community/area where he/she works;
• Possess strong communication and advocacy skills;
• English, French, Arabic, Portuguese are the working languages of the AU. Fluency in any AU working language is required; knowledge of another AU language would be an asset.

Nigeria Jubilee Fellows (NJF) Programme for Nigerian Youths- This is to inform all our readers that the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows programme application portal is open. The NJF is a Federal Government of Nigeria initiative in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), that aims to place 20,000 skilled young Nigerian graduates (under the age of 30) into jobs in private and public sector organizations around the country.

Duration of the NJF Programme

The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows, NJF jobs will last for 12 months, all participants will be fully-paid, and will seek to help prepare recent graduates for their future careers and work environments.

The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows (NJF) Programme aims at empowering Nigerian graduates with opportunities.

Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) is a youth empowerment partnership initiative between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Rising unemployment and the COVID-19 pandemic are all impacting the ability of young Nigerians to find work. The programme seeks to connect talented graduates with local job opportunities that apply their expertise, while equipping them with world-class practical knowledge and relevant skills. It does not matter if you have no job experience!

Eligibility for Nigeria Jubilee Fellows (NJF) Programme

1. Must be a Nigerian citizen.
2. Be a fresh graduate (Bachelor’s Degree) from any discipline and graduated not earlier than 2017.
3. Be at most 30 years old.
4. Not currently engaged in any employment.

You will have to download the letter from your NASIMS portal dashboard, and you must take it to your PPA supervisor to be signed and accepted.

On clicking on the deployment link on the NASIMS portal dashboard, Npower Batch C applicant should be able to see his or her place of primary assignment, entitled monthly stipend, and his or her PPA letter for immediate download.

How to Upload your Npower Acceptance Letter On NASIMS Portal

After downloading your Npower deployment letter, you are expected to take it to your assigned supervisor at your place of primary assignment not exceeding three days from the date of printout.

Your assigned supervisor will screen your documents and tick the accepted or rejected box, if you are accepted, you are to reupload the acceptance letter to your NASIMS portal again, this is the process.

Steps on How to download NPOWER Batch C PPA Deployment Letter – The FGN through the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development (FMHDSD) has commenced the deployment of verified Npower Batch C stream 1 applicants. Therefore all successfully shortlisted candidates are expected to login to their Npower portal to check for their posting details.

All successfully shortlisted candidates will receive monthly stipends of N30,000 per month for the graduate programmes and N10,000 for the non-graduate programmes.
