The Uganda Green Enterprise Finance Accelerator (UGEFA) 2022 for young Ugandans

The Uganda Green Enterprise Finance Accelerator improves access to finance for green enterprises through facilitating tailored loans and direct acceleration support.

Application Requirements:

• Registered as a private company or partnership
• Based in Uganda
• Making revenue and looking to grow
• Been operating for 2 years or more
• Motivated, enthusiastic team
• Interested in a loan of 36,700,000 to 367,000,000 UGX to fuel growth

The Programme

Catalyser Programme

Hands-on interactive capacity building to prepare for growth: First, join our Catalyser Programme to refine your business and financial plans and develop a solid growth strategy and investment proposal. Prepare your enterprise for scale, while ensuring that you are all set for your loan application.

Loan Application

After successful completion of the Catalyser Programme, we will support you to prepare a promising loan application. We work with partner banks which offer tailored loans for green enterprises like yours. Participating in the UGEFA Programme significantly increases your chances to get access to a loan with favorable conditions customized to the specific needs of a green enterprise.

Accelerator Programme

Once your loan application has been approved, our Accelerator Programme will provide growth and investment support to successfully scale your enterprise. Join tailored one-on-one support to manage growth, financials, and impact to take your enterprise to the next level.

3. Login to UGEFA Platform to access full application
4. Submit your full application by 14 Apr 2022
