Federal Ministry of Education (Federal Scholarship Board) 2021/2022 Application Portal is now open – We are using this medium to invite interested and qualified Nigerians to participate in the 2021 / 2022 Federal Government Scholarship Awards for:

Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Scholarship Award 2021 / 2022

BEA Scholarship Eligible for

Undergraduate (UG) studies tenable in Russia, Morocco, Algeria, Serbia, Hungary, Egypt, Tunisia, Turkey, Cuba, Romania, Japan, Macedonia; and
Postgraduate (PG) studies tenable in Russia (for those whose first degrees were obtained from Russia), China, Hungary, Serbia, Turkey, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, e.t.c.

Fields of Study for BEA Scholarship

Undergraduate level – Engineering, Geology, Agriculture, Sciences, Mathematics, Languages, Environmental Sciences, Sports, Law, Social Sciences, Biotechnology, Architecture, Medicine (very limited), etc.; and
Postgraduate level (Masters Degree and PhD) in all fields.

Qualification and Requirements for BEA Scholarship

Undergraduate Scholarships:

All applicants for undergraduate degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of Five (5) Distinctions (As & Bs) in the Senior Secondary School Certificates, WASSCE/WAEC (May/June) only in the subjects relevant to their fields of study including English Language and Mathematics. Certificates should not be more than two (2) years old (2019 & 2020) for Non-African Countries and for African countries the age of certificate is one year (2020) only. Age limit is from 17 to 20 years

Postgraduate Scholarships:

All applicants for Postgraduate degree courses must hold a First Degree with 1st Class or at least 2nd Class Upper Division. The applicants who are previous recipients of Foreign Awards must have acquired at least two (2) years post qualification experience or employment practice in Nigeria. All applicants must have completed N.Y.S.C. Programme and the age limit is 35 years for Masters and 40 years for Ph.D.
N.Y.S.C discharge or exemption certificates only are accepted; and
Evidence of readiness to be released by an employer.

General Note For all Applicants

Since the BEA countries are non-English speaking, applicants should be prepared to undertake a mandatory one year foreign Languare course of the country of choice which will be the standard medium of instruction;
The required certificates for candidates applying for Bachelor in Imamat, Quran Teaching Professor and Iman Preacher Training for Islamic Religious studies in Algeria is WASSCE / WAEC and no other certificate is accepted;
All applicants for Hungarian Scholarship can apply for up to two fields of study in order of preference; and must visit the website: www.stipendiumhungaricum.hu which will hopefully be opened between October and November, 2020

All applicants for Russia Postgraduate Scholarship must have acquired their 1st Degree in Russia;
All Applicants to upload their certificates online;

To be eligible for consideration for the award of an AIG Scholarship, you must:

Be a citizen of Nigeria or Ghana
Be between the ages of 25 and 35 years (must not be 36 years old by December 31, 2020)
Have a first-class or second-class upper undergraduate degree with honours (or equivalent international qualifications), as a minimum, in any discipline. For applicants with a degree from the USA, the minimum GPA sought is 3.7 out of 4.0
Be preferably top 10% of graduating class (First, Second or Master’s Degree) – evidence to be provided
Provide evidence of game-changing leadership and resultant impact
Show skills and interests outside of academics (evidence to be provided).

The scholarship programme is aimed at encouraging hard work and academic excellence amongst Nigerian undergraduates and it is open to students who participated in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have just gained admission into any Nigerian state or federal university.

Eligibility and Requirement

The Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship (The “Scholarship”) by Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC (“Stanbic IBTC”, “we” or “us”) is only available to Applicants (“Applicants”, “They” or “You”) who:
- reside in Nigeria and participated in the 2020 University Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB)
- have a score of 200 and above in JAMB
- have gained admission and have been properly enrolled in a Nigerian Federal or State University (“University”) with relevant evidence
The Scholarship is awarded on the basis that you will maintain an enrolled status at the University in your admitted degree programme.

Where an applicant applies on more than one platform or submits multiple entries/applications, they shall still be entitled to only one Scholarship slot.

Selection

The Scholarship will only be awarded to 100 Applicants spread across the 36 States of the federation and FCT with a minimum of 2 Applicants per State.
The Scholarship will be offered on a first come, first serve basis until the 100 slots are allocated.
Scholarships will only be awarded to applicants that follow the instructions and meet all the eligibility criteria.
Winners will only be contacted through the valid email address they provide.

Applicants who plan on studying courses related to the “Future of work” will be an added advantage (for example Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Accounting, Finance, IT and so on). Where an Applicant applies more than once/multiple times, they shall still be entitled to only one Scholarship slot. The decisions of Stanbic IBTC are final in all matters relating to the Scholarship.

The program Learn Africa aims to promote the transfer of knowledge, exchange and training of African female students through scholarships offered by Spanish universities.

Annually, Total in collaboration with NNPC ad its corporate partners, select and sponsor young Nigeria scholars to Master’s Degree programs i Engineering, Geosciences, Management Sciences, Finance and Law, in top universities in France. The award is full board.

Total welcomes applications from suitably qualified young Nigerians for the 2020/2021 NNPC/TOTAL INTERNATIONAL MASTER’S DEGREE SCHOLARSHIP.

Qualifications and Requirements for NNPC/Total MSC Scholarship
