Qualifications

  • Applicant must possess a relevant University degree in Surveying and Geoinformatics:Land Surveying; Geodesy or Geodetic Science / Engineering; Hydrographic Surveying; Cartography; Photogrammetry; Remote Sensing; Geographic Information System (GIS); and Survey Engineering or any other   equivalent qualification(s).
  • Applicant must be registered with Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON) for a minimum period of fourteen years post registration. In addition, applicant must possess a minimum of twenty-six years post qualification cognate experience in the area of Geospatial Information Science and Technology (Surveying and Mapping).

Assistant Director (Surveyor) SGL 15

Location: Nigeria

Qualifications

  • Applicant must possess a relevant University degree in Surveying and Geoinformatics, Land Surveying; Geodesy or Geodetic Science/Engineering; Hydrographic Surveying; Cartography; Photogrammetry; Remote Sensing; Geographic Information System (GIS); and Survey Engineering or any other equivalent qualifications.
  • Applicant must be registered with the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON) for a minimum of six years post registration.  In addition, applicant must possess a minimum of Eighteen years post qualification cognate experience in the area of Geospatial Information Science and Technology (Surveying and Mapping).

NPF (PSC) 2020 Constable Recruitment Screening Shortlist- Check your name psc.org.ng

Nigerian Police Force, Police Service Commission recruitment for constable successful shortlisted candidates for screening has been released. The commission received 315,032 applications and are screening less than that.

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced that the screening of 210,150 shortlisted candidates for recruitment into the constable cadre of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) will commence from July 1, 2019.

Out of the 210,150 shortlisted for screening, 182,926 are males while 27,224 are females.

2020 NPF Constable Recruitment Screening Shortlist

Carefully read the information contained below, as it is important for you if you really want to make it to the Final Constable Shortlist. Please be informed that only about 10,000 persons will be finally shortlisted.

  • The Screening Exercise will commence on Monday 1st July, 2019 and ends on Saturday 20th July, 2019
  • Any Shortlisted Candidate that fail to show up for screening in between the aforementioned period will be Automatically Disqualified
  • Shortlisted Candidates are advised to check their email (submitted during registration) for further details on the screening procedures.

How to check 2020 NPF (PSC) Screening Shortlist

How to check the list is not a problem as the processes involved has been simplified, successful applicants have been contacted via their email addresses used during the registration process, with information containing the venue, date and requirements for the screening.

Niger State had the highest number of shortlisted applicants, with 12,247 invited for screening while Lagos had the lowest with 1,305 invited for the screening.

Kano State had the second highest candidates with 11,717  invited for the NPF screening, the state is quickly followed by Katsina with  11,651.

Benue has 10, 567,  Adamawa has 10,361 and Bauchi 10,232 candidates invited for the screening.

With just 1,414, Bayelsa State is the second lowest after Lagos, followed by Anambra  State with 1,415.

Ebonyi State has 1,679 and Abia State has 1,880 invited for the 2019 NPF screening.

UBTH Recruitment Available Positions 2019/2020

1. Registrars

Registrars in various specialties in the hospital

Qualifications: Candidates must possess

  • MBBS Certificate
  • NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate
  • Certificate of registration/practicing license of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
  • Pass in the Primary Fellowship Examination of the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent in the relevant specialty, within the past five (5) years.

2. Pharmacist Grade 1

Qualifications– Candidates must posses

  • University Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University.
  • Certificate of registration with the Pharmacist Council of Nigeria
  • NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.

3. Nursing Officer 2

Qualifications- Candidates must possess

  • Candidates must be registered nurses and midwives (R.N. and R.M.) or possess equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions.
  • Evidence of registration with Nursing and Midwifery council of Nigeria.

4. Medical Laboratory Scientist

Qualifications- Candidates must possess

  • Candidates must possess at least a BLMS from a recognized University and must be professionally registered.
  • Evidence of completion of mandatory one (1) year MLS Internship programme.
  • NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.

5. Pharmacist Technician

Qualifications- Candidates must possess

  • Candidates must have completed the prescribed three (3) years’ training programme at a recognized school of Health Technology and must be professionally recognized.

6. Optometrist

Qualifications- Candidates must possess

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
  • Certificate of registration with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board of Nigeria (ODORBN)
  • NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate

7. Dieticians

Qualifications- Candidates must possess

  • B.Sc/HND in Nutrition and Dietics
  • Candidates must be professionally registered
  • NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.

Nigerian Stock Exchange Graduate Trainee Programme 2019/2020

The Nigerian Stock Exchange Graduate Trainee Programme (GTP) is an 11 month intensive program designed to groom talents locally and raise a new generation of leaders for the capital market and the Nigerian economy.

Combining theoretical insights and hands-on approach, the GTP offers you a unique opportunity to learn and grow your career in the capital market. Participants are provided an avenue to garner exposure and be mentored by professionals in different facets of the capital market and the finance industry.

Joining the GTP will position you on the right path to career success within our business. The Graduate Trainee is expected to be a logical and strategic thinker, proactive, tenacious, energetic, hard-working and possess positive attitude to work. The Graduate Trainee shall also possess attributes of a team leader and player who is willing to lead the growth of the Capital Market in Nigeria, Sub-Saharan Africa and Africa at large.

Qualifications and Requirements (Eligibility Criteria)

British American Tobacco is looking to hire a Warehouse Assistant, to join their team in Ibadan, Nigeria.

Job Purpose/Description

The purpose of the role holder is to provide basic warehousing functions of receipts, storage and issuance of materials /goods and to avoid damage or wastages in the process.

The main challenge for this role lies in ensuring good knowledge of materials and finished goods so that he/she will be able to interpret material specification sheets and finished product code so that any mistake can be identified easily. The role owner is also expected to have a good knowledge of inventory management and possess the ability to work with a number of unskilled workforce to generated expected results.

Specific Roles

Operational/Technical/Professional Results

  • Maintenance of proper storage of all company stocks in the warehouse, effective receipts of stocks and dispatch to external/internal customers.
  • Management of records in the warehouse in accordance with record management policy
  • Ensure physical stock movement is posted in the system.
  • Enforcement of compliance with BAT EHS/EMS guidelines in all warehouse activities
  • Ensuring that accurate data are captured and sent out to avoid unplanned costs.
  • Keeping all parties updated on issue that may affect production.
  • Internal customers’ satisfaction.

Leadership Results

  • Ensure Self Development by improving own knowledge of the other roles in the department.
  • Ensure development and implementation of Training & Development plans for self as agreed with his supervisor/manager.

Management Results

  • Provision of required information/data as required by the superiors.
  • Minimize cost of warehousing through effective use of resources.
  • Ensure good housekeeping in the warehouse at all times.

Relationship Results

  • Ensure that accurate daily stock reports are sent out to all stake holders on time.
  • Maintain good working relationships across the supply chain, SMD (second manufacturing department), QA (quality assurance) and engineering departments.
  • Maintain good working relationship with our external suppliers.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the warehouse processes.
  • A minimum of OND in any numerical or financial courses. In addition to this, a good knowledge of computer will be an advantage.
  • Good inter-personal communication skills.
  • Sound Analytical skills and ability to work with figures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with less supervision.
  • Computer literacy sufficient to be able to perform all physical transactions in the system and sending of daily reports.
  • Experience in use of material handling equipment e.g. forklift.
  • Experience in an FMCG handling large number of SKUs preferably with a manufacturing organization sufficient to demonstrate understanding of products.
