Pharmacists are a blessing to society. Pharmacists check the quality of medicines supplied to patients, ensure that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable, advise patients about medicines, including how to take them among others.

The Pharmacists Council of Nigeria is the national body that regulates the activities of Pharmacists in Nigeria.

JAMB Cut off Mark for Pharmacy 2020

Do you wish to know the cut off mark set by JAMB for Pharmacy in Nigerian Universities?

Before we proceed, it is important we inform you that Pharmacy is not studied in all Nigerian Universities, as some schools don’t offer the course. Ensure that you selected an accredited university during your JAMB 2019 registration, you can also do JAMB change of course/ JAMB change of institution.

WAEC Result is out- Simple Steps to check WAEC Direct Result Online

WAEC Result is out– The West African Examination Council has released the May/June SSCE results.

The total number of candidates that sat for the WAEC Exam are 1,570,173.

Do not panic if your result is not complete as subjects are still being processed.

WAEC council said candidates who are not indebted to the council will be able to access and check their results online, using the results checker pin on their smart identity cards used during the conduct of the examination.

Simple Steps on How to check your WAEC result online

This post contains simple steps for candidates to check their waec results on the Council’s results website: www.waecdirect.org and also follow the procedure below as shared on WAEC’s website:

  1. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.
    (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)
  2. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2023
  3. Select the Type of Examination
  4. Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number
  5. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN
  6. Click Submit and wait for the results window to open.

Important WAEC Result Update

Do not laminate your ORIGINAL WAEC RESULT, instead keep it in a safe place. If you do, you have removed the authenticity of the result, so try as much as possible not to laminate it.

Get a good water proof file and store your result. As a matter of fact all important documents shouldn’t be laminated.

As stated above, the management of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has released the cut-off mark for the 2019/2020 academic session.

Please Note- Candidates MUST meet the minimum UTME scores for their chosen courses, have the right UTME subject combinations as prescribed in the JAMB Brochure and the requisite ‘O’ Level subjects at credit level before applying for the post utme.

NPA (polac.edu.ng) Admission 2019/2020

Candidates admitted into the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil degree course will undergo a combined academic and Police training for a minimum period of Five (5) Years leading to Bachelor’s degrees and commission into the Nigeria Police Force as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

Qualifications and Requirements- POLAC

  • Candidates seeking admission into the Academy must be Nigerian citizens and must be between 17 and 22 years of age, and must have a height of not less than 1.67 Metres (5 Feet 6 Inches) if male, and 1.62 Metres (5 Feet 4 Inches) if female. In addition, male candidates must have an expanded chest size of not less than 91cm (36 Inches). All candidates must be free from any physical deformity or mental disability.
  • Candidates must have obtained a minimum of SIX (6) credits at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), the National Examinations Council (NECO) or the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) at not more than 2 sittings and including a credit pass in English Language and Mathematics as well as subjects relevant to the candidate’s chosen course of study in the Academy.
  • Candidates must also obtain satisfactory scores in both the written examination and the interview and must pass physical and psychological tests of fitness.
  • SSCE STATEMENT OF RESULTS OR CERTIFICATES RELATING TO EXAMINATIONS TAKEN BEFORE 2013 WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Step by Step Guide on How to Apply for 2019/2020 Police Academy (POLAC) Admission

All interested and qualified candidates are to apply online, using the provided guide below.

  • Visit Nigeria Police Academy’s (NPA) Website www.polac.edu.ng
  • Obtain or generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code.

The RRR code obtained can be used to make payment of N3,000.00 through any commercial Bank Branch in Nigeria. Applicants must, in addition, apply through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board [JAMB] as well as sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

  • Applicants must, in addition, apply through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board [JAMB] as well as sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  • Candidates need not select the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil as a University of choice in the JAMB form.
  • Only candidates who obtained the minimum UTME scores of 180 which is the Academy’s Cut-off mark in JAMB and purchased the Academy online application form will be eligible to sit for the Nigeria Police Academy Selection Examination.

How To Buy Nigeria Police Academy Admission Form 2019/2020

  • Applicants can pay for the admission application form online via the portal or via REMITA Retrieval Reference RRR at any Nigerian bank of choice. Ensure you have completed the previous step “CREATE AN ACCOUNT” to proceed.
  • To pay Online, Login to the application portal, choose ‘Pay Online’.
  • To pay via at any Nigerian bank of choice, login to the application portal, choose ‘Pay at Branch’

Applications are to be submitted online only. Candidates are required to download Acknowledgement Form. Only candidates who meet the cut-off mark will be enabled to download and print their examination cards

Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) General Information for Admission

  • The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil Selection Examination, will be Pencil and Paper Based (PPB).
  • The examination shall comprise of a General Paper (Section A) which is compulsory for all candidates.  It will cover areas such as general knowledge and current affairs, English Language and Mathematics.  Other sections are to be selected according to candidate’s Faculty of choice.
  • It will be conducted on Saturday the 10th August, 2019. Only candidates who meet the Academy’s cut-off mark of 180 in UTME and above will be eligible to sit for the Nigeria Police Academy Selection Examination at the 19 designated Centres. The list of Centres is in the Academy Website.
  • Eligible candidates are to bring along to the examination venue their Acknowledgement Form, Examination Card, current JAMB Result Slip and two Postcard size photographs (3.5×5 Inches) which should show only from the chest upwards.  At the back of each of the two Postcard size photographs, the candidates must write their name, State of origin, Examination Centre and signature.

  • Go to https://healthrevolve.com.ng/ and select “Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital Sokoto” from the “Remita Payment” menu at the top of the page.
  • Under “Services” select “UDUTH School of Nursing”.
  • Fill in N5,000 under Service amount while filling in all other correct information then click “General Payment Instruction”.
  • Using the generated Remita (RRR number), go to any bank to make a payment.
  • Take the generated teller of payment with Remita Slip to UDUTH cashier and collect receipt.
  • Take the copy of Remita slip and receipt collected from UDUTH cashier to School of Nursing UDUTH Sokoto to get your serial Number and pin.
  • Visit http://www.uduth.org.ng/online_form2.php and insert the pin and serial number given to you.
  • Fill your information accurately and submit after acknowledge
  • Please come along with a printed copy of your application from on the date of entrance exam.

University of Lagos (UNILAG) Cut off Mark 2020/2021 and Departmental Cut off Point- JAMB Cut-Off Update

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) cut-off mark 2020/2021 is out. See full details below.

For you to be eligible to get the UNILAG post utme screening form, you must meet the requirements set by the school alongside JAMB. You must meet the required cut of mark for UNILAG as well as the course you wish to study.

Getting admission into UNILAG is not as hard as people think; it is easier to gain admission when you meet the required cut off mark for that particular course.

How to Calculate UNILAG Screening Aggregate Cut off Mark 2020/2021

O’Level- 20%

UTME- 50%

Post UTME- 30%

How to calculate O’level

A1 = 4 points

B2 = 3.6 points

B3 = 3.2 points

C4 = 2.8 points

C5 = 2.4 points

C6 = 2.0 points

How to calculate UTME/JAMB Score

Divide your JAMB UTME by 8

Divide your post UTME Score by 2

NB: The Candidate must not score below 40% in Post UTME to stand a chance.

UNILAG Departmental Cut-off Mark 2020/2021

The University of Lagos- UNILAG don’t have a fixed cut off mark for courses. The only thing fixed is that candidates who have scored a minimum of one 160 in 2020 JAMB UTME examination is eligible to apply for admission into any of their choice courses.

Candidates with higher score are considered first before those with lower scores. The higher the JAMB Score, the higher your chances of gaining admission.
