Nigerian Army DSSC Recruitment 2020/2021 Form

Applications are invited from eligible Nigerians for commission into the Nigerian Army (NA) as Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) officers. The DSSC is open to both civilians and serving military personnel. Only serving military personnel sponsored by any of the Services of the Nigerian Armed Forces to civil institutions shall be considered.

How to Apply for 2020 Nigerian Army DSSC Recruitment

  • Log on to www.nigerianarmyms.ng
  • Create an account.
  • From the home page, select Nigerian Army DSSC application.
  • Read the Nigerian Army DSSC requirements here
  • On successful registration, you will receive an email notification containing your login details.
  • Click on ‘Login’ to complete the application form.
  • Ensure all required documents listed below are uploaded:

– Passport photograph.

– Educational certificates.

– Evidence of membership of any professional body.

– Certificate of state of origin.

– Birth certificate or age declaration.

  • PRINT OUT– Applicants must print out their online generated photo-slip on completion of their application. The first page is to be signed by the Registrar of Court of Law while the second page is to be signed by the applicants’ Local Government Chairman/Secretary or any military officer of the rank of Lieutenant Colonel or equivalent and above who hails from his/her state.

Successful applicants would be required to present their printed photo-slips to the selection board during interview.

Nigerian Police Academy Selection Exam 2020- This is to notify all our readers that the FCT Police Command has informed all persons that applied for the Nigeria Police Academy’s 8th Regular Course that the venue and date for the selection examination is out.

Nigerian Police Academy 2020 Selection Exam Venue and Time

The Nigerian Police Academy examination will take place nationwide on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at 7:00am.

The Abuja venue for the Computer Based Test (CBT) is GSS Tudun Wada, Wuse Zone 4, opposite AEDC Head Office.

Applicants are advised to print their new examination card from the POLAC website (http://polac.edu.ng/).

How to write the Nigerian Police Academy Selection Exam 2020

All applicants are expected to click on the Selection Exam Card box and enter either phone number or RRR Code (Application Number) in the appropriate column.

Candidates were asked to attend with their examination card, two postcard photograph and acknowledgment slip.

In adherence with the existing COVID-19 guidelines, all applicants must put on their face masks.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified Nigerians for enlistment into the Nigerian Navy through the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 28.

Nigerian Navy DSSC recruitment Available Positions

The departments and entry requirements are listed below:

Seaman:

BSc/HND in the following disciplines:

  • Nautical Sciences.
  • Criminology.
  • Psychology.
  • Sociology.
  • Forensic Sciences.

Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.

Accounts and Budget:

Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting/Banking and Finance. Membership of professional bodies like ICAN, ANAN, ACMA, ACCA, ACA will be an added advantage.

Chaplain:

Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from a registered institution of theology from either of the following:

  • Catholic Mission.
  • Protestant Mission.

Applicants must have completed 2 years apprenticeship in Apostolic Ministry and be recommended from pastoral missions. In addition to qualifications required, applicants must be of male gender and duly ordained clergy of their respective Christian faith.

Education:

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)/ B.Sc Ed in relevant fields. Holders of first degree with PGD Education in the following fields are also eligible:

  • Physics.

Membership of National Institute of Management and other relevant bodies will be an added advantage.

Hydrography:

B.Sc or HND in the following fields:

  • Cartography.
  • Surveying/Geoinfomatics.

Medical:

The following medical fields with requisite entry qualifications are available:

  • Consultants: Must be a fellow of National Postgraduate Medical College or West Africa College of Physicians or Surgeons. Must possess current practicing license of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. Candidate’s age limit is 40 years by 20 February 2020.
  • General Doctors/Dental Surgeons: MBBS, MBBCh or equivalent. Must be fully registered by the Medical and Dental Council of
    Nigeria and possess a current practicing license.
  • Pharmacy: B.Pharm/Doctor Pharmacy degree and full registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria as well as have a current
    practicing license.
  • Medical Lab Science:Either a BMLS or AIMLS/ equivalent and be fully registered with the Medical Laboratory Scientist
    Council of Nigeria as well as possess a current practicing license.
  • Dental Therapist: HND Dental Therapy must possess current professional practicing license.
  • Radiographer: Minimum of BSc/HND in Radiography with current practicing license.
  • Physiotherapy: B. Physiotherapy or BMR (Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation). Must be registered with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapist Registration Board of Nigeria (MRTB) and possess a current practicing license.
  • Optometry:Doctor of Optometry. Must be fully registered optometrist, dispensing optician by the Optical Council of Nigeria and have a current practicing license.
  • Medical Records/Health Information Management:
    Minimum of BSc/HND required with current practicing license.
  • Dietician: B.Sc or HND Dietician/Nutrition. Must be registered with Dietetics Council of Nigeria with current practicing license.
  • Clinical Psychology: BSc/HND in Clinical Psychology and Applied Psychology, with current practicing license.
  • Biomedical Engineer:BSc/HND in Biomedical Engineering with current practicing license.
  • Public Health Officer:BSc/HND in either Environmental Health or Community Health Information and Education. Must be
    fully registered with the Environmental Health Officers Registrations Council of Nigeria (EHORCON) and possess a current practicing license.
  • General Nursing/Midwives:B.NSc RN/RM with current practicing license. Post basic qualification in any of the following fields will be an added advantage:

(1) Accident and Emergency Nurse.
(2) Intensive Care Unit Nurse.
(3) Peri-Operative Nurse.
(4) Ophthalmic Nurse.
(5) Dialysis/Renal Nurse.

  • Hospital Administration: BSc/HND Hospital Administration with current practicing license.

Music:

BA/HND in Music. Proficiency in any musical instrument will be an added advantage.

Sports/PT:

BA/HND in Physical & Health Education or Human Kinetics and Health Education. Proficiency in any physical sport will be an added advantage.

Logistics:

BSc/HND/B Eng in the following fields:

  • Transport Management.
  • Economics, Business Management or Marketing.
  • Architecture.
  • Catering/Hospitality Management.
  • Civil Engineering.
  • Quantity Survey.
  • Structural Engineering.
  • Estate Surveyor and Valuers.
  • Final Certificate of Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology.

Legal Service:

LLB and BL (Call to Bar Certificate and a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience required). LLM in International Maritime Law, International Law or Forensic Law is an added advantage.

Qualifications and Requirements

  1. Applicants are warned against giving false information or tendering fake certificates. Any false information or fake certificates discovered at any stage will lead to disqualification and subsequent prosecution of the applicant.
  2. Applicants must possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Division for holders of First degree and Upper Credit for HND holders. Computer literacy will be an added advantage in all fields.
  3. Applicants must possess certificates of full registration with their respective statutory professional bodies in Nigeria.
  4. Applicants who obtained credentials from foreign institutions should ensure the certificates are authenticated by the Federal Ministry of Education.
  5. All applicants must present O’level West African Examination Certificate (WAEC), in addition to any other results such as NECO. Credit in Mathematics and English is compulsory.
  6. NYSC discharge certificate or letter of exemption from NYSC is a compulsory requirement for enlistment.
  7. Male applicants must not be less than 1.68 meters tall while female applicants must not be less than 1.65 meters tall.
  8. Applicants should be between 22 and 28 years of age by 7 January 2021. Except for Chaplains/Imams and Medical Consultants who should not be more than 30 years and 40 years respectively.
  9. Serving personnel, Soldier/Rating/Airman, and other paramilitary services personnel must obtain a letter of attestation duly signed by the
    heads of their units.

Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) Federal Teachers’ Scheme (FTS) Nationwide Recruitment

ONLINE APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT INTO THE UNIVERSAL BASIC EDUCATION COMMISSION (UBEC) FEDERAL TEACHERS SCHEME (FTS) FOR 2020/2021 SERVICE PERIOD HAS STARTED.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment into the Federal Teachers Scheme (FTS) for 2020/2021 service period. The Federal Teachers Scheme (FTS) is a two-year intervention programme established by the Federal Government in 2006 to assist States in addressing teacher shortage at basic education level.

Qualifications and Requirements

Only candidates who fulfill the following conditions need apply:

  • Bachelor degree in Education or Bachelor degree with Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), of not lower than Second Class (Lower Division) and not earned earlier than 2014. Must have completed or exempted from NYSC.
  • Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with credit passes in Teaching Practice and the Teaching Subjects, and not earned earlier than 2014
  • Specialisation in any of the following subjects:

a. English Language
b. Mathematics
c. Integrated Science
d. Biology, Chemistry and Physics
e. Agricultural Science
f. Home Economics
g. Computer Science
h. Technical/Technology Education
i. Computer Science or Information Technology
J. Nigerian Languages
k. Physical and Health Education

  •  Not more than 35 years of age.
  • Not currently employed or enrolled under NYSC, NPower or any similar programme.

DURATION:
The service period is for two (2) years or as may be determined by the Universal Basic Education Commission

Title: Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship 2020

Description

  • The scholarship programme is aimed at encouraging hard work and academic excellence amongst Nigerian undergraduates and it is open to students who participated in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have just gained admission into any Nigerian state or federal university.

Eligibility and Requirement

  • The Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship (The “Scholarship”) by Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC (“Stanbic IBTC”, “we” or “us”) is only available to Applicants (“Applicants”, “They” or “You”) who:
    • reside in Nigeria and participated in the 2020 University Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB)
    • have a score of 200 and above in JAMB
    • have gained admission and have been properly enrolled in a Nigerian Federal or State University (“University”) with relevant evidence
  • The Scholarship is awarded on the basis that you will maintain an enrolled status at the University in your admitted degree programme.

How to Apply for Stanbic IBTC Scholarship 2020

Applicants may submit their applications by following these simple steps:

  • Click on the link here, fill the required details, attach requested documents and submit
  • Successful Applicants will be notified only via an email.
  • Where an applicant applies on more than one platform or submits multiple entries/applications, they shall still be entitled to only one Scholarship slot.

Selection

  • The Scholarship will only be awarded to 100 Applicants spread across the 36 States of the federation and FCT with a minimum of 2 Applicants per State.
  • The Scholarship will be offered on a first come, first serve basis until the 100 slots are allocated.
  • Scholarships will only be awarded to applicants that follow the instructions and meet all the eligibility criteria.
  • Winners will only be contacted through the valid email address they provide.

Applicants who plan on studying courses related to the “Future of work” will be an added advantage (for example Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Accounting, Finance, IT and so on). Where an Applicant applies more than once/multiple times, they shall still be entitled to only one Scholarship slot. The decisions of Stanbic IBTC are final in all matters relating to the Scholarship.

How to Check NDA AFSB 72 RC List of Successful Candidates and Requirements

Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA) AFSB complete List of successful candidates for the 72 RCC 2020 is now fully out – This article will show you how to successfully check for your name on the NDA Shortlist 2020, the necessary documents and requirements and date for resumption.

This is to notify the general public that the Nigerian Defence Academy Kaduna has published the names of successful applicants.

Requirements for NDA AFSB 72 RCC 2019/2020

Selected candidates by the NDA Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB) MUST come along with the ORIGINAL copies of their credentials which include First School Leaving, Primary School Testimonial, Original NECO/WAEC, NAPTEB, NABAIS, Senior Secondary Testimonial, Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age and Letter of State of Origin.

  • Any candidate who fails to present originals of the stated documents will not be accepted into the Academy.
  • Every selected candidate must come along with Branded Laptop Computer minimum of core i3, 4GB of RAM, 500 GB HDD, 2.1GHz Processor
  • Selected candidate must come with Bank Verification Number (BVN)

In addition, successful candidates are to come along with the following items:

  • Two pairs of black trousers
  • One lounge suite (dark color).
  • Two belts (preferably black).
  • One pair of black cover shoes.
  • One pair of white canvas shoes.
  • Four pairs of white socks.
  • One black rubber-strapped digital quartz wristwatch.
  • Black polish, brushes, shaving kit and toiletries.
  • Two white bed sheets and pillow cases for 8 spring bed.
  • Black swimming trunk/shirt.
  • Individual Barbing Clipper clearly labelled with name
  • Two Black civil belts
  • Two pairs of white shorts.
  • One pair of white trousers.
  • One Spike Shoes/Foot ball boot
  • Hockey stick
  • Two pairs of blue shorts and white round neck vest.
  • Two white shirts (long sleeves).

This update is for N-power beneficiaries who are having some troubles in finding/getting their Npower ID number. This post is very important because the ongoing Npower data collection by state focal persons requires you to present your Npower ID number.

In this post, we will guide you on how to successfully check your Npower ID number for data collection in your NPVN portal.

What is Npower ID Number?

The Npower ID number is a unique identity number assigned to each Npower beneficiary on the npvn portal.

The number comprises of the beneficiary State, year of enrollment and serial numbers, e.g NPVN/ED/2016/0123456.

Now we will proceed to show you how to check or get your Npower ID Number.

How to check your Npower ID number

Follow this easy steps listed below to get your Npower ID number;

  1. Go to your NPVN portal via http://npvn.npower.gov.ng
  2. Login with your correct details
  3. Wait for the page to load.
  4. Click on your name at the top right side of the portal.
  5. A new page will pop up displaying your profile information and then you can copy your Npower ID as explained above.
