ExxonMobil Undergraduate Scholarship Form 2019/2020 is out- Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN), operator of its joint venture (JV) with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), awards undergraduate scholarships annually to students in Nigerian universities.

ExxonMobil MPN Scholarship Awards

The NNPC/MPN JV scholarship is aimed at assisting the Federal Government of Nigeria in the training and development of medium and high level manpower for the country, while also enhancing a possible feeder pool of employable candidates into the company.

Eligible Courses for ExxonMobil Scholarship 2019/2020

The online Applications are invited from full-time undergraduates in their FIRST YEAR (100 LEVEL) or SECOND YEAR (200 LEVEL) of study in any of the under-listed courses in Nigerian Universities:

  1. Petroleum Engineering
  2. Chemical Engineering
  3. Mechanical Engineering
  4. Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  5. Civil Engineering
  6. Geology/Geophysics
  7. Medicine (MBBS Only)
  8. Agricultural Science (And related fields)
  9. Computer Science

Requirements for ExxonMobil (MPN) Scholarship 2019/2020

  • Candidates must be holders of the SSCE or its Equivalent with at least six subjects passed at a sitting
  • Applicants must be registered full-time undergraduates in their 1st or 2nd year of study in any Nigerian University
  • Students who are currently on similar scholarship awards from other oil and gas companies should not apply
  • Dependants of employees of Mobil Producing Nigeria, Mobil Oil Nigeria Plc and Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited are not eligible for this scholarship.

How to apply for ExxonMobil MPN Scholarship

Under the NNPC/MPN JV undergraduate scholarship program, 60 percent of the awards go for core disciplines of Engineering and Geosciences, while 40 percent are for other approved business and social sciences related studies.

Qualifications and Requirements

Exxon Mobil oil & gas production activities constitute one of the largest sources of revenue for the Nigerian government and economy.

Eligibility

  1. Only applicants with Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in one of the following disciplines are eligible to apply:
  • Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology
  • Petroleum Engineering Technology
  • Chemical Engineering Technology

Please Note- Applicants with higher qualifications should not apply.

  • Applicants must have graduated from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) program between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2018, and possess a minimum of Lower Credit.
