FG Starts Payment of MSMEs Survival Fund Loan Grant| Artisan/Transport

Federal Government has started payment of the MSMEs Survival Fund Loan/Grant to Artisan/Transport workers. Check out the list of shortlisted persons for the MSMEs Survival Fund Loan Grant.

As at the day the portal closed to applicants for Payroll Support Scheme, we had 432,000 businesses that applied. However, we have shortlisted 70,000 that met the requirements. These businesses have uploaded over 400,000 staff for us to pay for three months.

The list of businesses or company shortlisted was not released online but most persons were notified via Email and the owners of the business would know when one of their staff is paid.

Business owners will not be paid; it was confirmed that only staff will be paid. Through, BVN, it was detected that most business owners put their names on the list.

Interested and qualified Nigerian youths, who have genuine business ideas, should visit any of the 125 micro-credit banks across Nigeria to access the loan.

Sadiya Farouq- Npower Batch A and Npower Batch B Backlog Payment Update

Sadiya Umar Farouq, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has released an important update for Npower batch A-B beneficiaries who are yet to receive some months stipends.

The total number of beneficiaries from Npower Batch A and Npower Batch B is 500,000.

Out of the 500,000 combined beneficiaries from Batch A and B, only 14,200 have 5 months outstanding stipend arrears.

Reason for the delay in Npower Batch A & B Backlog Payment

The delay in the payment of backlog stipends is due to platform migration from NIBSS to GIFMIS by the Office of Accountant General of the Federation in March 2020.

From the consolidated list of beneficiaries Npower received from the OAGF in September, the 14,200 beneficiaries with arrears of stipend were flagged for receiving a monthly payment from other MDAs, particularly from the NYSC. It is possible that the 14,200 beneficiaries used their NYSC allowance bank accounts for N-Power and GIFMIS payment platform picked them for double payment.

How to ensure you are paid your Npower stipend backlog

A State verification process has commenced with State N-Power Focal Officers. If you are among the 14,200 affected beneficiaries, you are expected to present your NYSC certificates for final verification after which Npower will present an updated list to OAGF to pay off the 5 months arrears.

Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) invites applications from interested and qualified Primary school pupils for its 2021 / 2022 Post Primary Scholarship Award.

Objective

  • The Scheme seeks to support high performing Basic Five and Six pupils through secondary school education.

Criteria for Award – Merit
Prospective beneficiary must:

  • Be an indigene of NLNG host communities.
  • Be a basic 5 or 6 pupil and must provide his / her Basic 5 or 6 result.
  • Provide an attestation letter signed & stamped by the Head Teacher of his / her school (contact telephone number of the Head Teacher must be stated in the letter)
  • Provide an indigene confirmation letter signed by the CDC Chairman or Chief in his / her community.
  • Provide letter of identification from his/her Local Government Council.
  • Provide a passport-sized photograph
  • Not be a child or ward of staff of Nigeria LNG Limited.

  • Have excellent / very good West Africa School Certificate (WASC) or National Examination Council result at ONE sitting i.e. a minimum of
  • 5 credits including Mathematics and English
  • Have a score of 200 and above at the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
  • Be a certified Full-Time Year-One student of any Nigerian University at the time of application
  • Have at least 3.5 CGPA at his / her Year-One first semester (2019 / 2020 session) examinations
  • Not be a beneficiary of any other Scholarship Award / Scheme from any other company, organization or agency
  • Not be a spouse or child of a staff of Nigeria LNG Limited.

  • Then click on the UGSS Scholarship application link on the Related Links section of the page to access the application portal
  • Click on “Register Here” to create a profile and commence the application process
  • All applications MUST include the following scanned copies as attachments:
    • Passport-sized photograph
    • WASC, SSCE or NECO result
    • UTME result
    • Official signed and stamped Year-One first-semester result (2019 / 2020 session)
    • University admission letter
    • University student ID card
    • Local Government Area Letter of Identification.

OFFAR Foundation is a Non Governmental Organization owned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Ibadan, Nigeria. The Foundation began operations in 1984 as a farm enterprise and in 2006, evolved into a training Institute known as “Oluponna Fish Farming Education and Resource Centre (OFFERCentre)” through the support of the Embassy of France in Nigeria.
