Nigeria Police Academy 9th Regular Course

The Nigeria Police Force wishes to invite interested and qualified candidates of Nigerian extract to register online for admission into the 9th Regular Course Cadet Degree Programme.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates seeking admission into the Academy must be Nigerian citizens and must be between 17 and 22 years of age, and must have a height of not less than 1.67 Metres (5 Feet 6 Inches) if male, and 1.62 Metres (5 Feet 4 Inches) if female.

In addition, male candidates must have an expanded chest size of not less than 86cm (34 Inches for those between 21 and 22 years of age). All candidates must be free from any physical deformity or disability.

Candidates must have obtained a minimum of SIX (6) credits at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), the National Examinations Council (NECO) or the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) at not more than 2 sittings.

All Candidates must also have a credit pass in English Language and Mathematics as well as subjects relevant to the candidate’s chosen course of study in the Academy.

Candidates must also obtain satisfactory scores in both the written examination and the interview and must pass physical and psychological tests of fitness

SSCE Statement of results or certificates relating to examinations taken before 2017 will not be accepted.

The closing date for buying and submitting the Nigeria Police Academy Admission Form is 12th of September, 2022.

Please Note- Only candidates who are successful in the Selection Examination will be invited for the Nigeria Police Academy Selection Board screening and interview. The list of successful candidates will be published on the academy’s website and in some national newspaper.

The application comprises of 4 stages which are listed below. Note that the application into Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) requires National Identity Number (NIN), by providing the NIN, you have given Nigeria Police Academy the right to get your Bio data. i.e. Basic information from NIMC and the data will not be editable while registering

Stage 1: Go to https://polac.edu.ng/ or

Stage 2: On this page you are required to provide your NIN number, JAMB number, email and phone number. Then, click the Verify Bio/Generate RRR button. After clicking the button your generated RRR number will appear if the verification is successful. Also you will be presented with detail information on how to make the payment.

Stage 3: Proceed to make payment with the generated RRR.

Step 4: After making the payment, click on verify payment/Resume under the registration menu to resume and verify payment.

How to Buy Nigeria Police Academy Admission Application Form Online

To pay with your ATM card-

  • Visit www.remita.net and click on Bills & purchases option
  • Click option to pay with the RRR code you generated initially from POLAC website
  • Insert your RRR code and click on continue
  • You will be redirected to a page where you can pay with your card.

How to Buy Nigeria Police Academy Admission Form With Remita Payment

  1. Visit a bank and request a teller.
  2. Fill in the key parts of your teller – date, name of the depositor (your name), phone number, amount, etc. For the Account Number, enter the copied RRR. The account name is NIGERIA POLICE ACADEMY.
  3. Note that, RRR can be longer than the boxes provided to fill the account number. Fill the boxes and enter the excessive numbers after the boxes. It’s ok and acceptable.
  4. After the filling, present this at the counter. Your payment will be made and confirmation of payment receipt will be printed out for you.
  5. After payment at the bank revisit this portal, click registration menu at the main nav bar, then click verify payment.

  1. Copy your RRR – Click the “Copy to clipboard” button.

Therefore all successfully shortlisted candidates are expected to login to their Npower portal to check for their posting details.

Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships

Each year the Swiss Confederation awards Government Excellence Scholarships to promote international exchange and research cooperation between Switzerland and over 180 other countries. Recipients are selected by the awarding body, the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS).

The Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships are aimed at young researchers from abroad who have completed a master’s degree or PhD and at foreign artists holding a bachelor’s degree.

Swiss Government Excellence Types of scholarship

  • The research scholarship is available to post-graduate researchers in any discipline (who hold a master’s degree as a minimum) who are planning to come to Switzerland to pursue research or further studies at doctoral or post-doctoral level (research fellowship, PhD, Postdoc).
    Research scholarships are awarded for research or study at all Swiss cantonal universities, universities of applied sciences and the two federal institutes of technology, as well as the four research institutes. Only candidates nominated by an academic mentor at one of these higher education institutions will be considered.
  • Art scholarships are open to art students wishing to pursue an initial master’s degree in Switzerland (arts).
    Art scholarships are awarded for study at any Swiss conservatory or university of the arts. This scholarship is available to students from a limited number of countries only.

University of Lausanne (UNIL) Master’s Grants Scholarships- The Masters scholarships are scholarships for excellence awarded exclusively to students who have graduated from a foreign university and whose academic results are of a very high level.

University of Lausanne (UNIL) Master’s Grants Scholarships for Study in Switzerland

The scholarship is granted for the minimum statutory period of the programme chosen by the student. It amounts to CHF 1,600 per month from 15 September to 15 July (or 10 months a year) for the complete duration of the masters (one and a half years or two years depending on the chosen masters), with the exception of cases of definitive failure after the first year.

  • Master of education

  • Master of Science in Physical Education and Sports Didactics
  • Master of Science in Health sciences

Qualifications and Requirements

  • To have obtained a foreign university degree considered equivalent to a bachelor at UNIL before the beginning of the masters programme at UNIL.
  • To have distinguished yourself during your studies, especially through particularly brilliant academic results.
  • To have a language level of at least B2 (according to the European Language Portfolio global scale) in French or at least C1 in English according to the language in which your chosen masters is taught.
  • Not been registered with UNIL
  • To have paid the CHF 200.00 administration fee (see document, “list of documents to attach to your application”).

Withdrawal from the programme will lead to the suspension of the scholarship.

How To Apply for University of Lausanne (UNIL) Master’s Grants Scholarships

You must not make an application for admission to the masters degree via the Admissions Department (SII).

Candidates must send their completed application (refer to the document in the margin, “list of documents to attach to your application”), unbound, by post only to the following address:

  • Proven experience as data entry clerk

  • Minimum of two (2) years job related experience.

Senior Health and Safety Officer

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or its equivalent in any science discipline.
