Candidates must possess a National Diploma in Office Technology and Management or Secretarial studies at credit level.

Persons interested must possess Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent with at least four credit level passes including English Language obtained at one sitting or five credits at two sittings.

Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma in Transportation Planning and Logistics or any relevant discipline performing duties and taking charge of transport in the disposition and supervision of staff and vehicles in the Technical Section.

Interested candidate must possess a good Bachelor’s degree in Law, Criminology, Social Works and Psychology or any other relevant discipline with NYSC discharge or exemption certificate or ex-police officer not below the rank of ASP with at least 5 years’ cognate experience or ex-police inspector with 10 years’ cognate experience.

Conditions of Service

All successful candidates will be placed on probation for two (2) years continuous service on assumption of duties to the retiring age of 65 years. Persons above 50 years of age need not apply. Other conditions of service are similar to those obtainable in the Polytechnic in Nigeria regulated by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and the Rivers State Public Service.
