How To Transfer Airtime on Airtel. Airtel Networks Limited is a leading telecommunications services provider with headquarters in Lagos, the commercial nerve-centre of Nigeria. The company’s product offerings include 2G, 3G and 4G wireless services, mobile commerce, Home Broadband and enterprise services.
Please Note: To transfer airtime on Airtel, you’ll need to enter your PIN. The default PIN is 1234, but for security, it’s recommended to change it. To do this, dial *321#, select option 3 for “PIN management,” and follow the instructions.
After updating your PIN, you can transfer airtime using one of the following methods:
- USSD
- MyAirtel app

- Enter the recipient’s Airtel number and then the amount you wish to transfer.
- Confirm the transaction with your PIN when prompted. Then you will receive an SMS from Airtel confirming the status of the transfer.
How to Transfer Airtime on Airtel Using MyAirtel App
The MyAirtel app allows you to recharge airtime, purchase data bundles, and send airtime to other Airtel numbers.
To share airtime using the app, follow these steps:
- Download and install the MyAirtel app from your app store.
- Log in with your Airtel number or sign up if you don’t have an account.
- Go to the “Quick Actions” section and click “View All.”
- Select “ME2U – Share Airtime.”
- Enter the recipient’s Airtel number and the amount to transfer.
- Verify the details and enter your PIN to complete the transaction.
