Job Duties
- Assist in the implementation of all post-harvest operations under the supervision of the post-harvest supervisors and line breeder.
- Assist in processing cassava roots into designated food products (mainly gari, starch and odorless fufu).
- Assist in the determination of the dry matter and starch content.
- Assist in receiving, sorting, and recording samples received from field trials.
- Assist in data collection on cassava roots.
- Perform any other job-related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants must possess the following:
- O’level with a minimum of two (2) years of experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
Competences:
The ideal candidate must:
- Have the ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Have data collection and sample sorting skills.
