Familiarize yourself with common NCS interview questions. Here are some examples:

– Tell us about yourself.
– Why do you want to work with the Nigeria Customs Service?
– What do you know about the duties of the NCS?

– How do you handle pressure or challenging situations?

4. Understand the NCS Job Role

The interview panel may ask questions about the NCS’s responsibilities, such as:
– Revenue collection
– Anti-smuggling operations
– Trade facilitation
– Border security

Research the NCS’s core functions and be prepared to explain how your skills align with these duties.

5. Demonstrate Logical Reasoning
During the training and assessment phase, pay close attention to the lectures and take detailed notes. You may be tested on what you’ve learned, so stay focused and ask questions if necessary.

NCS Recruitment Document Verification and Screening Exercise

The document verification and screening exercise is a critical stage of the recruitment process. Here’s how to prepare:

1. Organize Your Documents: Arrange your credentials in the order specified by the NCS. This will make the verification process smooth and efficient.

3. Physical Fitness: Be prepared for physical exercises to assess your fitness level. Stay active and healthy before the screening day.
4. Stay Calm and Confident: Maintain a positive attitude and answer questions confidently during the interview.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

1. Punctuality is key. Arriving late may lead to disqualification.
2. Ensure all required documents are complete and up-to-date.
