Role Description

• Responsible for the safe handling and transportation of aircraft spares, materials, tools and equipment between technical stores and aircraft maintenance sites to facilitate timely accomplishments of maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• You will ensure aircraft spares, materials, tools and equipment are handled and with care, in accordance with company and manufacturer’s requirements ensuring they are delivered to the right location at the right time and relevant records are maintained.
• To assist technicians with routine tasks under instruction.
• Adheres to published Health and Safety requirements set by the company and government agencies particularly for operating equipment.
• Understanding dangerous goods and ESDS handling requirements ensuring material and personal safety requirements are fulfilled.
• Ensuring parts are protected from the environment and possibility of man-handling damages at all times.
• Maintain service and appearance of vehicles and equipment in a good condition to meet set standard.
• Carry out Pre-Use inspections on all Vehicles and equipment before deployment.
• You will ensure paperwork is correct and attached to all aircraft parts at the time of collection.
• Understand the value of the spares, ensure parts are loaded correctly and safely secured on company vehicles, as well as handled correctly to avoid any damages or malfunction
• You will report any incident occurred during handling, which would likely to cause damage. Recognize and report suspected damages, improper packaging
  and wrong labelling.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices to ensure that the work environment is hazard free, safe and pleasant.
• Perform such other duties reasonably requested by the Engineer.

• 98%Timely delivery of Aircraft parts, tools, and equipment.
• 90% serviceability of ramp equipment and vehicles.
• Nil Violations and incidences on the ramp.

Job Requirements
Your Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Public Health or Master of Science (M.Sc) in related Health fields, Epidemiology and Human Resources for Health.
• PhD in Public Health is desirable.
• Significant experience in strategy planning, organizational development, change facilitation and process management in the health sector.
• Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared/joint objectives, both internally and externally. Ability to orchestrate effective decisions across a broad range of issues and partners, assess progress, analyse gaps, and make necessary changes.

The Acting Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, assures that the process will be conducted in the best tradition of transparency and accountability. How to Apply for Nigerian Police Academy 10th Regular Course Cadet Degree Program 2023

• Visit the Academy’s website: https://www.polac.edu.ng,
• Generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code which would be used to make payment of a non-refundable fee of Three Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N3,500) only through any commercial bank branch in Nigeria. Successful payment will open up a form that applicants are required to fill out and upload scanned copies of their SSCE results, birth, and state of origin certificate.
• Thereafter, applicants are required to print out completed online forms and guarantor forms to be filled and submitted at the Nigeria Police Academy during the physical screening. Automated physical screening exercise will hold at the Academy at a date which will be communicated in due course.

NDLEA 2023 Recruitment Final List for Training

As stated above the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has released the final lists of successful candidates for the 2023 recruitment exercise for Narcotic Officer and Narcotic Assistant cadres.

Venue for NDLEA 2023 Recruitment Training

The underlisted successful candidates are therefore to report for Narcotic Officers Basic (Cadet) training at the NDLEA Academy, Kotton Rikus, Jos Plateau State, while the Narcotic Agent/Assistant (Trainees) will report for their training at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) College of Peace and Disaster Management, KM 4 Babbar-Ruga Batsari Road, Katsina State.

All successful candidates are to report for training at their respective designated centres according to their groupings and on dates assigned to their groups.

Successful candidates who fail to report by 6pm on Wednesday 2nd August 2023 for Superintendent (Supt) Cadre and Friday 18th August 2023 for Narcotic Assistant (NA and NASS) Cadre will be disqualified.

Documents and Items for NDLEA Recruitment Training

All successful candidates (narcotic officers and assistants) are to report for training with the following:

1. Original and photocopy of credentials to include National Identification Number (NIN) and print out of NDLEA online application reference slip.
2. Four copies of recent colour passport photograph without cap/hat.
3. Writing materials to include biro, pencils, ruler, notebooks, and file jackets.
4. Three pairs of white (unmarked) round neck vests and navy-blue shorts (without      stripes).
5. Two pairs of white and black socks.
6. Two pairs of pure black canvas trainers (rubber type NOT acceptable).
7. Two white bed sheets and pillow cases.
8. Two black trousers and white long sleeve shirts.
9. One blanket (grey or army green colour).
10. Two pairs of national dress or suit and casual wears with shoes.
11. Bucket, cutlasses and brooms to be purchased on arrival.
12. Some pocket money and toiletries.
13. Mosquito net.

Please Note:

Female candidates who are pregnant would not be allowed to join the training.

Candidates are to note that Drug Integrity Test and pregnancy test (for female candidates) would be conducted at various times during the training.  Consequently, Candidates who test positive would be immediately withdrawn from training.

Important Notice: Npower (NASIMS) Update Required for Batch C Beneficiaries (NPOWER Latest News Today)

The management of Npower (NASIMS) has issued a notification urging all beneficiaries to validate and update their bank account numbers now to ensure they are able to receive their monthly payments.

It has come to our attention that several applicants have not received their Npower payments due to incomplete or inaccurate account details. This discrepancy may arise from either not updating the account information or providing inconsistent information during the update process.

To avoid any challenges or delays in receiving your stipend payments, we strongly recommend that you take immediate action to update your NASIMS portal with your Bank Verification Number (BVN) and correct account details.

Npower BVN and Bank Account Verification

You should validate your account by verifying the account information on your Npower Nasims portal and update your bank details tab with your account details that match the name used during registration and on your BVN.

How To Update Bank Account Details and BVN on NASIMS for Batch C Stream 2

Note only those who have completed their Npower physical verification can update their bvn and account details.

The steps below will guide you on how to validate your Bank Account and BVN on the Nasims portal.

1. Login to https://www.nasims.gov.ng
2. Input your username and password
3. Navigate to the DEPLOYMENT tab and
4. Click and verify your Bank Account
5. Input your BVN and ACCOUNT DETAILS correctly
6. Click UPDATE
7. Then wait for the next step (PPA)
