Nestoil Limited Recruitment for Quality Inspector

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring regular aircraft inspections are carried out and concerns are escalated while recommending solutions.

As a Quality Inspector, you will:

  • Conduct regular inspections of the aircraft and procedures.
  • Investigate, audit and inspect activities and operations location as part of ongoing quality assurance.
  • Identify and record any concerns or findings, and necessary evidence to substantiate such concerns or findings
  • Propose or recommend solutions to concerns or findings through designated reporting channels and methods
  • Verify the implementation of solutions within specific time scales
  • Hold Quality and safety briefings across different operation location(s) specifically Port Harcourt Base
  • Work out Quality Indicators related to the business operations
  • Follow foreign auditors and inspectors, where required during an audit
  • Write correspondence and archive documents ensuring all process documentation is properly filed
  • Work with process owners to ensure processes meet the required standards at all times and especially in preparation for an audit
  • Establish the audit plan for processes and activities covering all aspects of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations requirements
  • Prepare the Management Review for own activity and that of the unit
  • Prepare and present monthly activities quality and bi-annual quality reports to Safety & Quality Manager
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents and all reportable occurrences that resulted/could have resulted in damage to/failure of equipment and/or injury to personnel, document findings and make recommendations as appropriate
  • Prepare all relevant documentation for airworthiness of aircrafts and its parts as well as provide quality assurance as required for the successful operation of the aircraft
  • Participate in external audits and maintain effective liaison with relevant stakeholders and regulatory agencies e.g. NCAA during their surveys and inspections
  • Maintain appropriate records of all quality audits and inspections carried out, including preventive and corrective actions performed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Drive sign-on/acquisition and retention of Corporate Distributors within the Bank through market storms and joint calls.
  • Collate data and statistics used in making insightful decisions and improving service quality and productivity to ensure maximum profitability on corporate collection lines.
  • Drive reactivation of salary earners with Relationship teams and other SBUs.

A Stamps Scholarship holder must;

The Market Systems Symposium is pleased to announce the MSS2023 Scholarship Program to support the attendance of market systems practitioners, consultants, and students at the 6th annual Market Systems Symposium.

The in-person Symposium will include three full days and the online Symposium will run for three days for approximately three – four hours per day with either live-screening or a playback at a time convenient to you during that time period.

MSS scholarship holders are expected to:

  • Attend and participate in the majority of the Symposium sessions
  • Complete a post-event Survey giving feedback on their experience
  • Write a summary brief or blog after the event detailing their learning and experience (which may or may not be published online).

Benefits of Vikara Institute Market Systems Symposium Scholarship Program

  • In-person Scholarship: MSS2023 will take place in person in Cape Town, South Africa from November 14-16th, 2023. The in person MSS2023 Scholarship includes full registration to MSS2023, economy airfare, accommodations, a stipend for meals, ground transfers to/from airports, and travel insurance.
  • Online Scholarship: The online MSS2023 format includes full registration to the Symposium which provides select components hosted online, available in either English, French, or Spanish.

  • The MSS2023 Scholarship is designed for local development consultants, the staff of local development organizations and local consulting firms, and students.

For those considering this opportunity, the criteria for eligibility are as follows:

  • Must be a full-time LASU undergraduate student.
  • Must be within the third semester in year one going into second year to fifth year of study.
  • Must have completed and passed all components of current year.
  • Must have maintained a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative GPA;
  • Based on your academic transcript.
  • Based on any testimonies to scholarly excellence.
  • Must be of good behaviour with no history of disciplinary action.
  • Demonstrate financial need with tuition fees;
  • Based on the financial information provided in the Application.
  • Based on the information provided in the letter of recommendation.

  • Must not be the immediate family member of any current employee or trustee of LASU.

Multinational software corporation SAP SE (SAP) commits to its partnership with UNICEF in support of Generation Unlimited (GenU) for an additional three years to help prepare young people for the workforce.

The partners will pilot a new programme that supports ‘learning to earning’ pathways in the digital and green economy for marginalised young people providing them with the skills they need to flourish. The new programme will be piloted – leveraging GenU signature programme Youth Agency Marketplace (YOMA).

By the end of the first year, SAP and GenU plan to reach more than 500,000 young people with opportunities for foundational and digital skills. Carleton University Queen Elizabeth Scholarship

As the first cohort of the Carleton University Queen Elizabeth Scholarship for Advanced Scholars from West Africa (QES-AS-WA) wraps up, we are delighted to announce the second and final call for applications for the second cohort scheduled for 2023-24. The program Wurin ta na yin rubutu – Her own room to write, which runs until October 2024, is open to West African women in the final stage of their PhD program, postdoctoral researchers, and early career academics affiliated to institutions, to participate in a research acceleration experience.

Scholars must be registered for their PhD at a West African university; postdoctoral fellows/researchers or early career PhD scholars must be working at a West African university.

As part of the award, successful candidates will be granted access to Carleton’s library resources. The scholars are expected to participate in workshops designed to augment research skills including writing, publishing, data analysis, and grant applications. Scholars will also benefit from joint research projects with their mentors and the many talks and lectures hosted by the Institute of African Studies (IAS) as well as by other departments and community partners.
