The Complex

The (newly created) People and Talent Management Complex (PTVP), will retain overall
responsibility for attracting, developing, motivating, and retaining a strong complement of
professionals, support staff and contingent staff to deliver the business of the Bank into the future.
The PTVP Complex is responsible for ensuring effective systems and controls for people and talent management from talent sourcing to retirement.
The PTVP Complex is also responsible for the effective administration of the Bank’s benefit plans (medical and staff retirement) and ensuring the financial sustainability of these plans.

The Hiring Department

The Human Resources Operations, Recruitment & Client Services Department (PTCS) focuses on interfacing directly with staff clients through integrated client services to internal and external stakeholders (through HR Operations, Recruitment and Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering, and Staff Engagement initiatives).
This will help the Bank to achieve its strategic agenda through attraction, development, engagement, motivation, and retention of a best-in-class workforce.
The Human Resources Operations Division (PTCS.2) is responsible for the administration of the employee lifecycle, management of staff benefits, HR transactional processing, and management of the employee personnel data.
Additionally, this Division is tasked with ensuring that HR leverages on the capability of technology to not only automate processes but to ensure full benefits by digitizing processes for efficiency.

The Position

The Payroll Assistant will be responsible for executing, supporting and facilitating the various stages of the payroll process and related activities.

Key Functions

Under the Supervision of Principal Payroll Officer, the Payroll Assistant will perform the following:
Payroll Administration and Processing:

Analyses, verification and loading of payroll inputs from other departments such as FIFC, TCGS, PTCS, PSEC to the SAP system.
Ensuring accuracy of data in the SAP HR payroll system.
Execution of the Bank’s payroll run activities including payroll simulations, payroll release, checking of payroll results and correcting payroll data.
Execution of the posting of payroll result to accounting and budget systems and investigation and regularization of un-posted payroll results.
Generating and dissemination of salary/benefits-related reports and pay slips for other departments including PTSB, SCO, FIFC, PTCS, staff and Management.

Payroll Accounting, Auditing and Fiduciary Services:

Analysis and reconciliation of expense and suspense accounts used in payroll accounting schema and benefits.
Clearing of payroll suspense accounts after payroll posting to Financial Accounting in a timely manner.
Assistance and support to external and internal auditors in the periodic payroll audit and general Bank audit processes.
Active participation in the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) testing exercises.
Provision of support and guidance to other PTCS teams in the personnel cost accounting activities.
Execution of the Position Budgeting and Control (PBC) program to ensure adequate budgeting and commitments for staff positions.

End-of-Service Calculation and Benefits Payments:

Calculation of end-of-service benefits for exiting staff.
Preparation of appropriate journal entries and requesting of payments authorization.
Payment of authorized benefits in line with bank’s staff rules and other regulations.
Assisting and guiding staff proceeding on retirement with repatriation benefits and other related inquiries

SAP & HRIS Related Activities:

Assisting in the design, development and testing of salary and benefits related functionalities on the Employee Self Service System (ESS) and Payroll system.
Assisting in the design and testing of modifications/changes in SAP system.

About Sholape Animashaun Foundation (SAF)

The Sholape Animashaun Foundation is established to immortalise the late Sholape Animashaun.Before her death, Sholape was a volunteer in an Islamic organization narrates that charity is one of the ways to immortalize a deceased family member. Since 2010, her family has donated over $20,000 towards various initiatives.

Every year, then Sholape Animashaun Foundation Scholarship awards a sum of N100,000.00 to Nigerian students in post secondary institutions as a contribution towards their education.

The Scholarship Program is organized to support and create public awareness in the interests of social welfare with the objective of improving the conditions of life for persons in need of education funds.The Sholape Animashaun Foundation Scholarship is established to immortalise the late Sholape Animashaun.

Benefits of SAF Scholarship Program

For each of the categories listed above, applicants will be awarded a sum of N100,000.00 each as support towards their education.

Requirements for SAF Scholarship Program

A candidate seeking to be a beneficiary of the Sholape Animashaun Foundation Scholarship must satisfy the criteria listed below;

Be a Nigerian Citizen
Be enrolled in a post secondary institution (Skilled/trade program, college/University) in Nigeria

Who are we looking for

The ideal candidate may be an HR Generalist or HRBP, and is required to have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end Performance Management processes, proficiency in Ms Excel, strong critical thinking abilities, effective presentation skills, excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities, as well as expertise in stakeholder engagement.

Job Description

Ensuring timely review of KPIs to confirm alignment with team goal & business goals and update HRMS.
Support the implementation and monitoring of Performance Improvement Plans for relevant employees.
Support the implementation/roll out plan for all Performance Development reviews required across the business & associated time frames/action plan.
Provide support in implementing appropriate metrics to measure, analyze, and report on the overall performance of the Identified Talents.
Ensure data cleansing and validation on HRMS.
Providing support to ensure employee appraisal profiles on the HRMS are without faults to ensure minimal appraisal complaints & errors after completion.
Provide timely support for the performance appraisal period. Follow up with Managers and Departmental Head to complete the performance appraisal on time using the HRMS.
Collation, development and manage employee(s) Performance Information.
Collation, development and manage Talents and culture team Performance Information.
Support the implementation of procedures to enhance employee performance as per the company’s objectives.
Implement and maintain monitoring systems for all employee’s performance indicators, targets and standards.

Preferred Skills and Experience / Requirements

May be an HR Generalist or HRBP but MUST HAVE 3 – 5 years’ hands-on experience of end-to-end Performance Management process.
Good communication and relationship skills.
Stakeholder engagement.
MsExcel – Pivot tables, Complex formulas, Charts, Vlookups, Charts.
Critical thinking.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Driver

Locations: Borno, Ondo & Oyo

Job Summary

The Driver shall be responsible for driving staff on official assignments and delivering packages to clients in a timely manner, working on nights and weekends and ensuring that vehicles are always ready for use, among other duties.
The Driver will be in charge of driving, maintenance, cleanliness and safety of the office vehicle & will be assigned the responsibility of exercising efficient and effective handling of the office vehicle.

Roles And Responsibilities

Transporting Staff and goods on official assignments, especially around the airports and environs, hotels and vice versa.
Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient fuel and are always ready for use.
Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
Updating monthly vehicle log book and other records.
Driving a variety of vehicles, including cars, buses and trucks when necessary
Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks.
Maintaining high personal hygiene including wearing well maintained official uniform
Delivering messages and packages in a timely manner.
Picking up staff, office purchases or other administrative needs.
Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
Interacting with staff and the public in a professional conduct.
Working at odd times and on weekends.
Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Station Manager from time to time.

Experience & Qualifications

Relevant educational qualifications are WAEC, SSCE, GCE, OND, NCE etc.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Not less than one (1) year driving experience

Job Attribute Required Skills:

Must have extensive knowledge of the operating local area
Must be a good team player
Good verbal communication
Must be proficient in the use of GPS devices
Must be physically fit to be able to lift objects
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Must have knowledge of dangerous goods and how to handle them

Must have a high sense of punctuality

Physical Requirements:

May be required to work late hours
Must be physically fit and agile
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
