Nigerian Agip Exploration Limited (NAE), on behalf of the NNPC Limited and NAE PSC, is committed to the training and development of manpower as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

2024/2025 NNPC/NAE PSC Post Graduate Scholarship Award Scheme

In pursuance of this, NAE invites applications from suitably qualified and interested Nigerian graduates for the 2024/2025 Post Graduate Scholarship Award Scheme. The award is in two categories- Nigerian and Overseas.

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify applicants MUST

• Possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian University.
• Must have secured admission into a Nigerian or Oversees University based on the category being applied for) for a one year Master’s Degree programme in any of the disciplines listed below
• Not above 28 years of age by December 2024
• Have completed the one-year National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) programme.
• Possess an international passport valid for travel at least one year from September 2024 (applicable to overseas category)

To further boost Human Resource Development in the Niger Delta region, the Niger Della Development Commission. NODC, is once again embarking on its Foreign Post Graduate Scholarship Programme to equip our young people with relevant training and skills for effective participation in the local content programme of the Federal Government, as well as enable them to acquire specialization in their fields of study and thus compete globally in various professional disciplines.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must hail from the Niger Delta Region and have achieved a First Class, Second Class Upper, or Lower Division Bachelor Degree

SELECTION PROCESS

1. Initial Application: Interested candidates must submit an online application via the Commission’s Website:

2. Preliminary Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the following criteria:

WASSCE/NECO results

Undergraduate degree classification (1st Class, Second

Class Upper/Lower) Local Government identification

3. Computer-Based Test: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a computer-based test conducted by our consultants in Rivers State

4. Minimum Test Score. Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 70% in the test to proceed to the next stage.

5. Further Shortlisting: Candidates who successfully pass the test will be further shortlisted.

6. Final Verification. The final verification of the candidates will be done through the Local Government Area (LGA) and Community Development Committee (CDC)

THE SCHOLARSHIP:

The amount for the foreign scholarship shall be based on the prevailing exchange rate of the Naira.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

The deadline for submission of applications is May 13, 2024, 4 weeks from the date of the first publication of this advert on April 15, 2024

MODE OF APPLICATION

Applicants are required to submit their applications online through the website: www.nddc.gov.ng. The following documents must be attached to the application:

1. Recent passport photograph

2. Local Government Identification Letter

3. Post Graduate admission letter from a recognized overseas university

4. Relevant degrees from recognized universities

5. NYSC Discharge Exemption Certificate

Upon successful completion of the application form, a registration number will be automatically assigned. Applicants are advised to print a hard hard copy of the online-generated acknowledgment for future reference

All shortlisted applicants will be announced and posted on the NDDC website: www.nddc.gov.ng. These shortlisted candidates will subsequently be required to take part in a Computer-Based Test (CBT)

NOTE: The Commission (NDDC) will not enter into any form of Communication with candidates who are not shortlisted for the Computer Based Test (CBT), those who are not invited for oral interview or candidates that are not successful during the oral interviews.

Preference will be given to candidates from Oil Producing Host/Communities/Local Government Areas as long as candidates meet the approved cut off mark.

The Commission will ensure a fair spread of courses amongst beneficiaries within each State.

Deferment, Change of institution and Course are not permitted.

Federal Government Scholarship Awards 2024

The Federal Ministry of Education invites interested and qualified Nigerians to participate in the 2023/2024 Nigerian Scholarship Award (NSA) and Education Bursary Award (EBA) tenable in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions.

Nigerian Scholarship Award (NSA)

The eligibility criteria for this scholarship is as follows:

i. Applicants for Postgraduate studies should possess a minimum of first degree with Second Class Honours in the Upper Division.

Applicants must be registered Full-Time students of Federal or State Universities.

ii. All other applicants (UG, HND &NCE) must be registered fulltime students in their second year or above, in Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics or Colleges of Education. All undergraduate Scholarship applicants including Persons with disabilities must have at least 4.0 Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) on a five (5) point scale or 5.0 on a 7 point scale or its equivalent.

iii. All NCE and HND applicants must have a CGPA of 3.5 and above on a scale of 4.0

Education Bursary Award (EBA)

The eligibility criteria for this scholarship is as follows:

i. Applicants MUST be registered students studying Education in Nigerian Colleges of Education and Universities.

ii. Applicants must be full-time students.

iii. All applicants including Persons with disabilities must be in their second year or above.

iv. A beneficiary of any subsisting scholarship is not eligible.

The Leventis Foundation (Nigeria) is a charitable company of the A.G Leventis Group dedicated to the training of farmers in modern and sustainable agricultural practices and rational use of natural resources.
