The Federal Government, through the National Directorate of Employment, has commenced the nationwide registration of unemployed persons in all 36 states, including the FCT. As an unemployed person, you are encouraged to take advantage of this cool opportunity by visiting the NDE office at your local government secretariat for registration or use the online portal for faster submission of the NDE Registration Form.
The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) carries out all its online activities via its official website https://nde.gov.ng. However, it will interest you to note that the National Directorate of Employment, has a separate site/portal for all its skill acquisition programs and this same portal is the one that will be used for this unemployed persons registration.

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) is an organization set up by the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1986 to curb mass unemployment and reduce the craving for white-collar jobs that are not readily available for the teeming number of graduates churned out every year.
The unemployed person registration program is an attempt by the federal government to have accurate data on the total number of unemployed persons in the country in other to make adequate provisions for them.
