Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Ibrahim Leadership Fellow will take leadership guidance from the President, the Senior Vice President, the Chief of Staff and Director of Cabinet and/or a designated Representative.
  • With this guidance, the Fellow will contribute to the design and implementation of strategic assignments that will increase and enhance their professional and leadership capacity, with the intention of contributing to the governance and development of their countries.

Responsibilities 
The Fellow will also have the following responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and help implement innovative approaches to various strategic issues of importance to the Bank’s mission and objectives, based on international best practice.
  • Undertake research and analysis of existing and emerging strategy, program and policy areas relevant for the Bank, as required.
  • Assist with the monitoring and analysis of the implementation of various Bank Group initiatives as well as the regular work program, and prepare briefs, memos and other documentation that convey in non-technical terms the likely impact;
  • Participate in high-level discussions and contribute to the preparation of the President’s meetings and missions; and
  • Carry out any other assigned duties by relevant senior staff in the President’s office.

  • The key competencies are top-notch professional experience in private sector and strong policy analytical skills at all levels and ability to run models.
  • The Fellowship is for young professionals, mid-career or/and new executives.

The Fellow Must:

  • Be a national of an African country, residing anywhere in the world;

  • Managing wealth to deliver an absolute performance within a good return and risk range.
  • Involved in the provision of financial planning, investment management, and financial advice to proposed business development strategies in line with achieving business goals for employees in this sector.
  • Established new banking relationships with companies and deepened already existing relationships.
  • Performs general performance and report activities which include drafting of daily and monthly reports with Power Bi and communicate insights to management.
  • Manages and drives account collections from all the value chain of the already banked corporate institutions and resolves all issues emanating from various accounts.
  • Drive sign-on/acquisition and retention of Corporate Distributors within the Bank through market storms and joint calls.
  • Collate data and statistics used in making insightful decisions and improving service quality and productivity to ensure maximum profitability on corporate collection lines.
  • Drive reactivation of salary earners with Relationship teams and other SBUs.

  • Successful candidates are to report to NDA RIBADU Campus (old site), Kaduna on Friday, 23rd October, 2023. Any candidate that does not report by Monday, 26th October, 2023 would forfeit his or her place to the candidate in the Reserve list.

The Program Assistant – Public Relations renders administrative support to the Bureau of International Narcotics & Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Nigeria team and is the lead action officer for external outreach regarding INL activities in Nigeria. S/he is supervised by the INL Program Management Specialist.

Remuneration/ Salary

  • NGN ₦11,190,898 /Per Year
    USD $45,290 /Per Year

Qualifications and Evaluations

Education Requirements:

  • Four-year University Degree in Communications, Public Relations, International Development/Relations, Criminology or Business Administration is required.

Note: NYSC Certificate or Exemption document is required.

Evaluations:
