Single Phase – N88,123.30

Three-Phase Meter – N154,623.81

Procedure for Metering

Select your account type (prepaid or postpaid)
Enter an active phone number and select get started
Fill the meter application form with valid information then submit.

Note:
All applicants must have existing active BEDC account numbers (prepaid or postpaid) before they can apply for metering. They must also ensure the use of valid email address and phone numbers during registration. Applicants must have any of the following document for identification purpose if they must complete the BEDC Meter Application Form.

Valid Driver’s License
Valid International Passport
National ID Card.

After registration, the MAP ID will be displayed on the screen and also sent to your registered email address. Applicants are to take note of the MAP ID and phone number used in registration as that is what will be required to access the customer’s dashboard to monitor their application status.

How to Register and Get BEDC Prepaid Meter Online

Application – Visit beninelectric.com or walk into any of our offices to apply and get an application MAP ID
Inspection – After successful application, the customer’s premises will be visited for Inspection and Evaluation.
Payment – Customers are to pay using their MAP ID to the dedicated MAP account only when prompted. Do not pay to any third party account.
Installation – A MAP Installer will install the meter within 10 days of payment at no extra cost.
