About West African Gas Pipeline Company Limited (WAPCo)
WAPCo in 2012 introduced its Livelihood Programme for host communities. This was based on the outcome of a study to assess the needs of the community. The programme has two components; a Scholarship Scheme and a Community Youth Enterprise Scheme. The scholarship scheme supports, brilliant but needy students within our host communities, to pursue an education at various levels. The West African Gas Pipeline Company limited (WAPCo) is a limited liability company that owns and operates the West African Gas Pipeline System (WAGP).

The West African Gas Pipeline Company Limited (WAPCo) introduces its Academic Scholarship for 2023/2024 to Nigerian undergraduates. Eligible students must be residents of WAPCo’s Host Communities, registered in a public university, and entering Level 200 with a CGPA of at least 2.5. Applicants are to apply online and register with their community representatives.

Requirements for WAPCo Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

- Nationality: Must be a Nigerian.
- Community Affiliation: Reside or hail from one of the WAPCo’s Host Communities.
- Educational Enrolment: Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited public university in Nigeria.
- Academic Standing: Applicants should be in Level 200 at the commencement of the 2023-2024 academic year.
- Academic Performance: Maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5.
Selection Process
