University of Ilorin Postgraduate Application Guide

1. Visit the home page of the University of Ilorin website.
2. Click on the “Postgraduate Portal.”

   On the displayed home page, navigate to the “Application Instruction” section and read carefully.

   • To start a new application, click “Apply Now.”
   • To continue an existing application after payment, click “Login.”
3. Use your Application Number as the username and your SURNAME as the password. Ensure accurate entry to avoid display issues.

   After clicking “OK” on the dialog box, enter your names.

4. Make Payment:
   • Select your ATM card type (Verve, Visa, or MasterCard).
   • Enter your Card Number, Expiry Date, and CVV2 (the 3 digits on the reverse side).
   • Enter your card PIN and click “Pay.”

   Note: Do not refresh your browser during the process to prevent multiple deductions. If nothing is displayed after 10 minutes, close the browser and restart.

5. After login, click “Continue Registration” on the main menu.
6. Fill in your bio-data and details truthfully. Upload your passport (not exceeding 20KB).
7. Click “Next Step,” then “OK” on the message dialog box.
8. Complete the program of choice, click “Save,” then “OK.”
9. Click “Next Step.”
   • Select Higher Academic Qualification(s) from the drop-down, click “Save,” and “OK.”
   • To add more qualifications, click the drop-down, select, and click “Save.”
   • Click “Next Step.”
10. Supply O/L details:
    • Choose the number of sittings.
    • Enter required O/L details.
    • Click “Submit,” then “OK.”
11. Upload certificates. Ensure the file size is not more than 100KB in JPEG format.
12. Click the “Preview” tab to review entered details.
13. Click “Submit Tab,” then “Submit Button” to complete the online application process.

Applicants for the Postgraduate Diplomas and Masters degree Programmes will be subjected to the written assessment (qualifying examination) irrespective of the class of degree obtained, except applicants from the University of Ilorin with a First Class and Second class, Upper Division (Honours).
