Requirements Criteria for Rivers State Teachers Recruitment

There are mandatory requirements applicants must possess to be eligible to apply for the teaching job in Rivers State. Below are some of the mandatory requirements:

Applicants must:

• Possess the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) as the minimum qualification for Primary School Teachers.
• Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor’s Degree in any Teaching Subject, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) for Secondary School Teachers.
• Hold a valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate.
• Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or possess an Exemption Certificate.
• Demonstrate strong Communication skills.
• Be computer literate.
