The President of Nigeria flagged off the National Young Farmers Scheme on the 10th of November 2020. This was released by NALDA.
NALDA Beneficiaries 2020| Buhari Young Farmer Network
Under the National Young Farmers Scheme, NALDA will focus on encouraging the Nigerian youth to participate in agriculture. This projects final goal would be to encourage, empower and guide 1000 farmers from each of the 774 LGAs in Nigeria each year.
This programme is intended to cut across all facets of agriculture.
NALDA is currently running a pilot programme that involves 100 farmers from each of the 774 LGAs of the country. For more information about this scheme visit a NALDA office closest to you.
