About NAICOM

The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) was established in 1997 by the National Insurance Commission Act 1997 with responsibility for ensuring the effective administration, supervision, regulation and control of insurance business in Nigeria and protection of insurance policyholders, beneficiaries and third parties to insurance contracts.

National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) employees earn an average of 1,512,000 Million Naira Annually.

Basic Qualification and Requirements

  • M.Sc. in mathematics from an accredited institution, in any subject.
  • A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in a related field from an accredited university.
  • NYSC Discharge Certificate or Letter of Exception.
  • A Higher National Diploma (HND) or National Diploma credential in any pertinent field of study
  • Solid understanding of the basics of utilizing a computer.
