We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mining Operator

Location: Jos, Plateau
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description and Responsibilities

Work with the team to develop operations processes to support mine planning, mineral ore quality, and grade control programs as well as production forecasting
Ensure good storage of mineral ore and proper recording keeping.
Organizing warehouse, labeling goods.
Ensuring all operations adhere to the company procedures, country laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
Proper mixing of materials.
Processing, sampling, weighing, and bagging of mineral ore according to company procedure.
Other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements And Qualifications

Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc. in Mining Engineering, Geology or equivalent preferred but not necessary
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work well under pressure during high (peak) workloads and balancing conflicting demands of high volume versus the quality of results.
Ability to work well with others & independently.
Proven time management skills and strong attention to detail.
Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
Travel to other Site locations or client locations may be required from time to
In-depth knowledge of the mining industry and knowledge of minerals like Columbite, Tantalite, Wolframite, Lithium, etc. are necessary.
The ability to effectively present information to all levels of the organization.
Strong commitment to safety and improvement mindset.
