How to Download NIMC Mobile APP Digital ID

The Federal Govt has given approval for the download and use of the newly re-designed NNIMC Mobile App.

Benefit of NIMC Mobile App/Where can I use it?

This NIMC Mobile ID is a valid means of identity anywhere within the Federal Republic of Nigeria, alongside the physical National ID Card, your Passport, Driver’s licence and/or Voter’s ID Card.
Link your Mobile Numbers (MTN, GLO, AIRTEL, 9MOBILE) to your NIN – securely
In this official release, you may add up to 6 extra Mobile Numbers to comply with the requirements of the NCC to link your Mobile numbers to your NIN.
Do it securely and safely from the comfort of your home.
The NIMC will handle the rest for you.

Download the NIMC Mobile app on Google Play or Apple app store. Follow the steps below to download the NIMC App.
When the app opens, you will be requested to type your NIN, after which the phone number linked to your NIN will be partially displayed.
You will receive an SMS containing the login credentials, e.g. “Your MWS Digital ID authentication credential. USER ID: BZMKYY-3481 OTP: 854751”
Use the details to login – Setup your 6-digit login PIN

Get the app from https://nimcmobile.app or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nimcmobile
Get your UserID from the Mobile ID app and a one-minute OTP from the “I Need a PIN” button on the app as well – the UserID and OTP are the credentials you use for logging into https://myportal.nimc.gov.ng

You will then receive a pop up congratulatory message that you have now been granted access.

Please note: You need to have obtained the national identification number to access the NIMC app.
