Requirements to Apply for PTDF Scholarship

- Attainment of a minimum of Second Class Upper (2.1) in their first degree or a Second Class Lower (2.2) with relevant industry experience.
- Completion of the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC).
- Proficiency in computer literacy.
- Possession of 5 O/level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Submission of a Statement of Purpose (maximum 500 words) outlining the study’s rationale, its industry relevance, and its potential impact on national development.
- Possession of a National Identity Number (NIN) with required verification (NIMC verification charges apply) before applying for the scholarship.
For PhD Applicants:
- Completion of the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC).
- Proficiency in computer literacy.
- Attainment of a minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2) in their first degree and a strong second-degree certificate.
- Submission of a research proposal relevant to the oil and gas industry (not exceeding five pages) with details like Title, Introduction, Research Problem, Aim, Research Questions/Objectives, Scope, Summarized Literature, Methodology, and Expected outcomes (only if necessary).
- Submission of a letter from the Vice Chancellor confirming that they are not recipients of any other scholarships (if shortlisted).
- Possession of a National Identity Number (NIN) with required verification (NIMC verification charges apply) before applying for the scholarship.
