Home Care Support Worker Job in Australia

Deliver in-home support services to our aged care customers (65 years old +) to help them live independently & remain within their own homes.

Service Location: Echuca, Moama, Mathoura and surrounding suburbs
Positions available for New entrants and Experienced applicants
Permanent Part-Time contracts available offering on average 20-40hours per fortnight + Flex up shifts
Permanent hourly rate of $29.06p/h – $32.56p/h + 11.5% super
Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM PLUS paid travel time between client visits.

Key Requirements

Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
Fully vaccinated (2) for Covid-19
Flexibility to work Monday to Friday within the hours of 7am – 6pm
Live within 15-20km radius to enjoy a convenient commute and support your local community
Ability to commit to our PAID 2 week Brilliant@Basics training and induction program when you first commence

Your key duties as a New entrant:

Domestic assistance: light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and general chores around the house
Social support: emotional support and companionship within the home and unassisted shopping
Administration: reporting and progress notes

Your key duties as an Experienced Carer:

Personal Care: assist customers with activities of daily living tasks based on care plan
Domestic assistance: light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and general chores around the house
Social support: transportation to appointments & social outings, shopping and providing emotional support and companionship
Administration: reporting and progress notes
