CDCFIB Recruitment Update: New Date for Application and Portal- This update is to inform you about the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) recruitment 2025 changes. The board is set to begin its 2025 recruitment into the four paramilitary agencies of the Federation. Initially scheduled to commence on Thursday, June 26, 2025, the recruitment portal will now open on Monday, July 14, 2025.
The CDCFIB portal gives you access to register or apply for the following jobs; Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Fire Service (NIS) and Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) or Prison Service. This opportunity is for all interested persons.

As stated above, the CDCFIB application registration portal will be open on Monday, 14th July, 2025 and will close after three weeks. Importantly, there is no fee associated with the application process, and interested individuals can apply at the official website https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng
Do not wait for the last day, register or apply immediately.
Note: Candidates must apply to only one agency as multiple applications will lead to “automatic disqualification”
Who Can Apply ? A Glimpse at the Requirements
Eligibility Criteria for CDCFIB Recruitment 2025 below:
- Applicant must be Nigerian citizen
- Applicant must be 18 to 35 years of age
- Male applicant should have minimum height of 1.65 metres, chest size of 0.87 metres while female applicants will have minimum height of 1.60 metres.
- The applicant must have no criminal record.
- Applicant must be medically and physically fit.

Educational Qualifications
Applicants of CDCFIB must have minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) with 4 – 5 credits including English and Mathematics.
Applicants with NCE, OND, HND, BSc or higher degrees in relevant fields such as law, engineering, medicine or technical trades are encouraged to apply.
