As part of efforts to reduce the rate of unemployment in Lagos State, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu approved the Internship Programme in 2020 for unemployed graduates in line with the T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda of the present administration and the Youth Development Programme of the State, which are Education and Technology and Making Lagos a 21st Century Economy

Title: Lagos State Graduate Internship Programme 2023

Benefit of Lagos State GIPP

  • Beneficiaries will be paid a monthly stipend of N40,000 for the six months duration of the internship.
  • At the end of the internship period, interns would have gained valuable applied work experience, built up their professional skills and would have been exposed to possible entrepreneurial opportunities to strengthen their professional skills and interpersonal relationship.

Qualification and Requirements

Eligibility Criteria

  1. A bachelor’s degree or HND with a minimum of 2:2 or upper credit.
  2. Must have completed NYSC.
  3. A minimum of 1-3 years of sales experience.
  4. Applicants must not be older than 28 years as at 31st May, 2023.

Polaris Graduate Intensive Trainee Programme 2023

Eligibility Criteria:

– Minimum of B.Sc (2nd Class) or HND (Upper Credit) in any discipline.

– Must have completed NYSC and awarded a discharge certificate.

– Possess Five (5) ‘Level Credits that include English and Mathematics at not more than 1 sitting; WAEC or NECO Certificate is required.

– Age not more than 25 years old by December 31, 2023. (National Population Birth Certificate required, Declaration of Age is not acceptable).
