The 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme, a critical part of the Renewed Hope agenda, is aimed at building Nigeria’s technical talent backbone to power our digital economy and position Nigeria as a net talent exporter. The first phase of the programme, executed in collaboration with NITDA, will involve multiple stakeholders including fellows, training providers, partners and placement organisations.

3MTT Programme Objectives

Skill Development: Equip 3 million Nigerians with in-demand technical skills by 2027.
Economic Growth: Enhance the digital economy by creating a pipeline of skilled professionals.
Global Competitiveness: Position Nigeria as a net exporter of tech talent.

Key Features:

Phased Implementation: The programme is structured in multiple phases:

Phase 1: Initiated in December 2023, training 30,000 fellows across all 36 states and the FCT.
Phase 2: Aims to train 270,000 individuals in cohorts of 60,000, 90,000, and 120,000 respectively.
