The 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme, a critical part of the Renewed Hope agenda, is aimed at building Nigeria’s technical talent backbone to power our digital economy and position Nigeria as a net talent exporter. The first phase of the programme, executed in collaboration with NITDA, will involve multiple stakeholders including fellows, training providers, partners and placement organisations.

3MTT Programme Objectives
- Skill Development: Equip 3 million Nigerians with in-demand technical skills by 2027.
- Economic Growth: Enhance the digital economy by creating a pipeline of skilled professionals.
- Global Competitiveness: Position Nigeria as a net exporter of tech talent.
Key Features:
Phased Implementation: The programme is structured in multiple phases:
- Phase 1: Initiated in December 2023, training 30,000 fellows across all 36 states and the FCT.
- Phase 2: Aims to train 270,000 individuals in cohorts of 60,000, 90,000, and 120,000 respectively.
